You could say his cross-over was actually a new move -- that's how devastating it was for about 3 seasons there. I wonder if there's a way to measure, via archive footage, just how much he accelerated during his change of direction? (Can we move it back to the NBA forum? ... I'm sensitive that Clutch moved this within a few posts of my appearance! )
my last two cents on the matter- a question for some of the posters: what would happen if your brother, or your son, or your best friend or family member came out of the closet, if they confided in you and trusted you with their personal info? how would you react? think about it
I would call Haggard and get him in the same program. If that didn't work, I would publish an ad in the paper in the hopes it would shame him towards straightness.
You love them ... or hate ... them for who they are en toto. That's the whole point of these exchanges. Personally, I love to spoof all the holier than thou PCs.
And this is based on what survey? True anti-gay marriage ammendments are passing but not nearly by 95%. Probably a majority is homophobic but 95% is a stretch. This discussion on CF.net shows that especially since it was mostly in the NBA Dish forum and not D & D. Again this goes to the argument that somehow homosexuals aren't able to control their sex drive. Just because you feel as a heterosexual male you can't control your sex drive doesn't automatically mean that homosexuals can't.
I haven't had a male friend or family member but a girl I used to date and stayed good friends with came out to me. That didn't change a thing about how I felt out about her and I was even glad that she figured out who she was. To head off the inevitable joke that I drove her to it. This was about three years after I dated her and she dated a few guys after me.
It was cool that he left it there as long as he did. It's really nice to get that much response and interaction among the gang here. I think a lot of folks are afraid to post in D&D. I can't imagine why! D&D. Howdy!
rhester once said "hell is being down 1 point to the Mavs with 11 seconds left and Luther Head decides to take it to the rack and throw up a prayer...only to leave TMac standing there with that crazy frown face...."
How about I hate black people? Oops. Waitaminute! Don't get sensitive and overreact. Maybe I just spoke in the heat of the moment, and didn't mean 'hate' in the strict definition of the word. Maybe I should speak more accurately. Maybe I just view black people as different than me, I don't hate them because I'm not racist like THOSE people, but let's just say I'd rather not hang out with them.
