The man said Ta Da !

I don't mind Deckard, at least he realizes the difference between celebrating ONE win, over defining the entire career as a Rocket.

I loved those 4 made 3pters, it washed away the crappy way the team played the rest of the game, but when you look at the body of work, it has to be considered a failure.

And please don't join the legion of DDingleberries that take things out of context to try to make a point, it is beneath you.

That's all you got, DD? Why am I not surprised.

I'm happy we're showing McGrady the door, but why that game has to be dragged into it passes all understanding. Hitting a new low there, DD. You can make your points without having your head in the toilet, you know.

The conversation was about shooting percentages.

    Toilet?

Are you kidding me? You are taking this completely out of context......he did NOT play well up to that point, but bringing up celebrations about an all time comeback is way out of context.

If you wanted context take all the posts about how he played UNTIL that point...that is what I was talking about.

    You are better than that.

Bringing up the 13 in 35 topic seems relevant when he did, in fact, have a pretty crappy game to that point yet that game is repeatedly brought up by Tmacnuthuggers as an excuse or justification for all the BS this guy has put the organization through. This is basically how it goes down when McGrady is called out by rational fans:

    McGrady quit on the team.

"but who else can score 13 in 35?"

McGrady screwed the organization last season.

"uh, you know anyone else who dropped 13 in 35?"

McGrady didn't take his rehab seriously.

    "Knock, knock."

    Who's there?

    "13 in 35!"

I'm "better than that?" Why did you bring up the game? Honestly, why bring it up? As I said, the guy is going and I'm glad he is, but why stoop to tarnishing one of the greatest moments in regular season history for this club? Who cares what he shot up until that point? It's like you have to toss some dirt on every accomplishment the man had here. And I think you're better than that.

I didn't bring it up, I responded to someone ELSE that brought it up.....

I loved that game, well at least the last 4 made 3pt shots, but that game was a symptom of the overall problem that is Tracy.

He was shooting like crap that game, and taking TONS of shots while doing it.

You can feel free to say I am tossing dirt......and I will be comfortable knowing I am living in reality.

Doesn't diminish those 33 seconds by saying he was struggling up to that point, in fact it makes it even more incredible to me.

    SHEESH !

    The blind leading the blind.....

Here: For the knuckleheads who think I brought it up......this is the post I was responding too....

    Carry on....now.

I love how people are so easy to bash on Mcgrady...and forget that Yao Ming has been just as much a failure as Mcgrady.

Why is Mcgrady always the scapegoat ? It seems people always forget about Yao.
It's always "Mcgrady doesn't make it out of the first round again"
Uh Yao a "super-star" center has been on those teams to...yet people never say "Yao cant make it out again of the first round again"

Yao and Mcgrady have both been failures to this team iin their own ways.

    They are BOTH always injured.
They BOTH had struggled up until last year to make it out of the first round (Until we got Artest and better roleplayers)

I just don't understand why Mcgrady is blamed so much more than Yao when they both have failed almost as much as the other.

If you don't understand the answer to that question you are not worth responding to.....there is a vast difference in the way Yao goes about his business and Tracy goes about his....

12-29, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 steals+ game winning shot, one of the best combacks ever.

Yea that was a bad night......no Rocket or NBA player for that matter will EVER do that again.

    A vast difference ? How so ?

Because Mcgrady didn't want to get shipped off to a terrible team he decided to speak out ?

People act like Yao is the Rockets Golden Boy. I'm fairly sure Yao has made mistakes with this club. Yao is just a much more softspoken person than Mcgrady.

Considering how often I've given Leeb a hard time, he'll find that hilarious. And DD, you jumped at the chance to post something about that game that reflected badly on McGrady. As I said before, why do it? Sorry, but I don't buy your "reason." You're like a dog worrying a bone when it comes to McGrady. God, I'll be glad when he's gone, just so I don't have to read any more posts from you about the guy. Excuse me if I think going after him for that game is just a bit too much.

This has been answered a million times, Grasshopper. I will give you a brief answer one last time, however.

Yao puts in the work during the season and in the off season. Yao puts in the effort ever single minute he is on the court. Yao plays the game and let's the coach do the coaching and the GM do the managing.

Simply put, he is the perfect example of what an NBA player should be. As fans, it's much easier to forgive a guy who does everything he can to bring a Championship to the organization/city.

yao puts in effort every single minute on the court ? LOL

Effort doesn't always equal success my young friend. But without effort success is not even possible. That's why I can say that McGrady will never win a thing in his career while Yao certainly still has a chance.

    That's all for today's lesson.

There is so much knowledge in that video for young Tmacnuthuggers. Unfortunately, they only watch videos that have "skillzlab" in the title.
