I think it's just a smokescreen. They can have anyone come in and workout. They are probably doing it to make Vince-suitors think that the Texans are seriously contemplating drafting Vince and trading Carr....thereby making teams work harder to make better trade offers. Casserly may not have a really good Crap Detector anymore, but at least he knows how to work the system. Book it: Carr will be the starting QB in 2006 and Bush and Davis will share RB duties.
Not sure how the arm is holding up, but his experience would be good...But don't we have Ragone and that Texas Tech guy...
In the scenario most of y'all (sorry Mexicans) are hoping for, I would hope we could do better in an interim bases than Tim freaking Couch. That guy sucks.
What's the point of this? Why would Mexicans be upset that you didn't like Tim Couch? You're making yourself no better than those who are too sensitive to understand the point of the name 1836 by bringing this up in completely unrelated threads.
Casserly: " Let's look at Couch, we can show how smart we really are if we have Couch backing up David. I am sure NO ONE will be shouting 'We want Tim' when David throws an incompletion or interception." Casserly: (thinks to himself) Brilliant!
Actually, I think we cut Symons a while ago. I heard he has signed with an arena football team a couple weeks back on 610. Not sure what to think about this. We spent a 3rd rounder on Ragone so he must be at least decent (unless Cass botched another pick), we also have Banks as well. But I guess you can never have too many backups.
The Texans won't be signing Couch. http://www.cleveland.com/browns/pla...sports/1140341501300470.xml&coll=2&thispage=2
QUESTION: If the Offensive line has been the biggest problem Why can we not Expect a break out season from Dom Davis as well? If the line is the cause of all sins. . . then WE HAVE BUSH AND YOUNG in CARR AND DAVIS Because behind a 'GOOD LINE' they both should EXPLODE Rocket River Trade the pick and get AJ HAWK
