What Tilman did in destroying a 65 win team over Luxury Tax $$ was terrible, I think he came in as a know it all and got what he deserved as a result. That had to be a real eye opener ....

Since that disaster he's stayed out of the way and let his basketball people do their jobs and "follow the process"....

I much prefer this approach to the mediocrity Les made us endure for years , picking 14th every year until they lucked into Harden.

From my point of view, at least currently, it appears that Tilman has learned a harsh lesson from his initial disasterous decisions and is letting his basketball people do what they do .... and the results point to a bright future.

Lets just hope he is willing to pay the tax in the future ....

As far as this thread is concerned. I don’t know many facts about the owner besides him trading guys to get under the tax however many times. Until he does opposite in that regard I don’t have much confidence.

People on here trying to re-write history. Little did we know, Tillman was actually a visionary basketball and business mind when he broke up a championship contender in record time. I guess he also built a world class practice facility, I'd love to see it.
