no, but when you routinely cheat like he did then pre-nup or not, you better be ready to give up what you got.

No way she gets half, but she will be getting a ton. Usually i am anti women getting excessive amounts of money (see mcartney's legless witch) but in this case she got treated pretty bad so i don't feel to upset over her getting 300 mil or so.

    Please.

Common sense should have told this woman the guy was likely to cheat. I'm not saying what he did was right and I do think he should have to pay her big time but let's get real. When she met him he was one of the most famous people in the world, under 30 years old, on his way to being a billionaire and on the road for a huge chunk of the year. If she didn't know this could happen she is a complete idiot. I won't even factor in the things that only she knows about him. People who have that big of a problem keeping their penis in their pants usually give signs. If she didn't pick up on the fact that he was dishonest or deceiving before she got married then she has a mental handicap. Or more likely she overlooked all that because she knew she had hit the jackpot.

As far as the kids, they'll be ok. Having mommy and daddy around is great sometimes but it's overrated when mommy is rich from a divorce settlement so no second income is necessary. It's also not great having mommy and daddy around when there is tension. Been there, done that. Those kids are better off than most kids in this country. They will have their mother and her family, presumably visitation regularly from their father (and his family) and the finest education money can offer. Something tells me they will make it.

i keep hearing this excuse and i'm sorry but it is just ignorant. Yes, maybe from behind a keyboard it is easy to expect that a man with power and fame would likely cheat. But we are talking about real life here...not pessimistic, smartass, heartless forum jockeys.

you know what, never mind. I agree. She should have expected him to cheat. You should expect to get a divorce (since most end that way anyways), you should expect to get cancer at some point or at least have someone around you care about get cancer, you should expect someone you love to die...but screw it...you get no sympothy because really, you should have expected it.

No keyboard jockey here. Just reality, Nancy.

But I'm glad to see you're in touch with your feminine side ;)

I heard she may not even be able to collect 5 mil due to the prenup. She had to be married w/Tiger for 7 years to just collect 20 mil. She must go to court for a big fight to get prenup thrown out. Then she can start to collect the 500 mil. Tiger bettter hope there isn't any language that can be used to invaldiated the prenup. I think a jury would probably go into her favor while a judge would probably vote in Tigers favor. Plus he may file for divorce in Fla if he thinks she may file in Cali.

The divorce is going to be the next big circus, could you imagine the stuff that may be said under oath when Elins team brings up the 14 skanks for testimony.

He will settle out of court to avoid this. She will get a lot more then the possible 5 million owed to her, but nowhere near 500 million. I can promise that Tiger's prenup was rock solid.

    What? Even more red flags?

If this prenup holds up then I don't think our more sensitive members can still say this women was clueless going into the marriage.

Well, judging from the news reports, that's not the only thing that was rock solid, apparently...

Just let me know any time you need more help seeing things realistically and not like it's coming from a romance novel. I'm here to help.

So what you are saying is that if you can expect certain things, then you really shouldnt care as much? So Erin should have expected the cheating and shouldnt have been hurt? Or, you should expect an immediate family member to die and it shouldnt bother you?

    Great logic.

No but way to conjure up all sorts of conclusions based on something you think I might have meant.

    Good job!

The thing that partly makes me think his wife wasnt fully aware was she went after HIM directly. Some of these wives fight off the other WOMAN, and try to keep the living situation intact

Roy Disney just died at 79. He was a billionaire. He married a woman last year. Jackpot for the widow. Does she deserve even 10% of his estate? Doubtful. Its just how those things go.

    Haha

You said, "Common sense should have told this woman the guy was likely to cheat."

What is the point of that comment? Just because its likely to happen, it shouldnt matter as much to her?

Clarify your point...then that would put other assumptions aside.

yup red flags all over the place. Just like the red flags that your parents will die as they get older and slower. But i'm sure you won't be surprised when you get that call, because you should have known it was going to happen sooner or later. Because that's reality.

oh, you mean conclusions based on what you were implying?

Look, i'm not a bleeding heart by any means, but to say that one should expect something like this and should not be suprised when it happens just doesnt make any sense.

If I were Tiger, I'd get the divorce, be a good dad, and HAVE FUN.

I'd drop the nice guy attitude, I'd continue to kick ass on the golf course and I'd be less politically correct. I probably wouldn't talk to media that much and I wouldn't associate with other golfers. I'd just go out there, kick their asses on the course, let them go home to their hypocritical lives and then I'd head out to the bar or strip club for some randoms, then practice a bit and then kick their asses all over again the following week at the next tournament. I'd have ho's in every zip code of every tournament. It would be like happy gilmore in the gallery if I were in his shoes. I'd autograph some t*** during the masters.
