Divorce settlements are absolutely disgusting. Hearing about how Tiger's wife might get 300 mil of his hard earned cash blows my mind Another reason in a long list of reasons why I'm absolutely against the government institution of marriage/civil institutions
Then things will get better. He'll pay her a ton of money in the settlement then after a year no one will even remember this. As long as he keeps winning he'll be fine just like Kobe. Honestly probably the worst thing for OJ was that he was too old to get back on the field and win back fans. The public is stupid they pretty much remember the last thing you did for them. And unlike OJ and Goldman, I doubt the wife is going to find much profit in staying in the public eye after the court payout It has nothing to do with being rich. Any man will cheat given unless they have a strong moral or emotional crutch preventing it. Back in the day when it was easier to have true religion and there was a larger stigma (and social and economic price) to divorce, broken families, and scandal there was more incentive to curb your impulses. Now a lot of these black athletes wont even marry their girlfriends. The amazing thing isn't how the media is going after Woods, it's how they've been convinced to go easy on all the Jordans etc who have preceded Tiger considering the indiscretions that other athletes have openly committed
Divorce, huh? Well, that is probably best for all involved, they can all move on with their lives.....and Tiger is not in his kids lives that much anyway with all that travel. So at least there can be some semblance of normality. And now, there is one very hot, very wealthy Milf on the market. All the single guys.....LINE UP !!!! One last thing reports are that he is still seeing that Uchitell chick, while he lives on his yacht, she was spotted at a grocery strore less than a mile away buying TONS of groceries. LOL.... DD
I thought they reworked the pre-nump like right after the incident? Was that an awesome strategy by her or BS from the media?
She wasn't his date, she was his "swing" coach. From his dad, to Mark O'meara, Butch Harmon, Hank Haney and this skank; Tiger has always found a older mentor to help develop his skills.
If true, the stories of Tiger being distraught and broken about about his marriage and career were planted by his friends. CaseyH, I don't doubt they have discussed the pre-nup, but Tiger's lawyers aren't dumb. I'm gonna guess she must agree to stay with him in order to cash in bigger than the original agreement, unless he's paying her extra not to speak publicly about their marriage for some period of time. Nothing is free.
I imagine its this. the last thing Tiger needs is her on Oprah as the victimized mom raising the two kids while he is off nailing skanks. She could drag him in the mud for a long time if she wanted to. Also, what else does she know, especially if Tiger is hooked on pills, using PEDs etc.
And the walls came crumbling down, and the walls, came crubmling down..... Meanwhile over in the corner, little Jackie Nicklaus is seen with his Tiger Woods voodoo doll chuck full of pins, muttering "try to take my all time majors record will you, we will see about that" DD
US Weekly had the scoop on her being the island estate in their issue last week - read about it on my flight to Vegas. IMO: 1. Tiger screwed his first opportunity to squelch this thing when he no commented on the crash enough to get everyone's radar buzzing. Everyone was wondering what happened once the 2:40 am, single car, leaving driveway details broke, and "no comment" sealed it that something was up. Dumb move. Take a bullet to avoid a hail of them. Tiger comes out and says "I made some bad decisions last night, I had some wine when taking my prescribed Ambian and Vicodin and got behind the wheel. I exercised horrible judgment and apologize chiefly to my wife and children. They mean everything to me, and I have to do better in the future." Bam. We're appeased that he came clean. The statement doubles as an apology to his wife for the affairs. Shades of Pettite, Arod, and others that gave partial steroids apologies. Under the rug swept. 2. I get that Tiger didn't get out much as a kid and didn't know better, so I blame the likes of Jordan for not giving him lessons on zip code girls. The game's been going on at least since Sinatra. Hell, Jimmy Page had a zip code girl that was all of 14. So I'm not judging, just stunned that Tiger was that dumb that (a) he used his main cell phone to chit chat, and gave them his real number (b) he put them in his address book with their actual names (list them as someone else's work number! Come on!) 3. When it broke, he should have pulled a blue chip special - his buddy should have been on flights that same day, buying Caddilacs cash and pulling them up to each girl's house with a "thanks for your discretion" unsigned post it on the steering wheel. 4. Once it was out of control, just divorce. Don't renegotiate the prenup to keep her around (unless it was to insert pay for confidentiality clauses) - no relationship survives a storm this bad. The ship sunk. Let her walk and go back to the partying you clearly hadn't gotten out of your system. 5. Michael Wilbon loses a ton of points for pulling the race card on this one. If it were a Kobe or Bonds, maybe it slides. But who hates Tiger? Who's been waiting for an opportunity to drag him down? Though I will say I laughed when I heard the "I'm Dreaming....of a White Mistress" song.
For whatever reason, the media only seems to care about steroids in baseball. There are football cases all over the place, yet they're swept under the rug.
the cynic tells me the perfect p.r. spin is to come out of this saying, "it's unfortunate...but i'm deeply in love with [insert name of one of the girls he's been cheating with here]."
That’s fine, but it begs the question…..does he list the girls in alphabetical order or sequential order? Or perhaps according to age? Bust size? So yeah, you can see the problems this strategy could create.
I think the perfect PR spin would be for him to come out and say " I blew it, had a great thing, got caught up in all the fame lifestyle, and blew it, lesson learned, I am going to get back to doing what I do best, GOLF....and make the best of this difficult situation for the good of my kids" DD
