Forreal. If you gonna have a slice on the side You have to be smarted about it. of course RULE #1 - Know who you dealing with !! A social Climber? Psycho? Wanna be Star? GoldDigger? Rocket River
You old timers don't understand - you can't have the same expectations for a guy like Tiger or MJ as you would an accountant who makes 80k a year with a wife. It's like comparing players from different eras. Their overconfidence on the field will inevitably flow off of it, and they aren't going to go through the trouble of meticulously planning out every detail of their affair. It's not logical to bring a holier than thou attitude into this, especially when you're an in demand athlete from a young age. You're treated differently, you look at things differently... there's little-to-no relatability to the common man, so why hold yourself to the same guidelines as them? Now a President like Bill Clinton, that's another story.
I'm not married and I still wouldn't do it either. Giving up to sexual pressure doesn't prove your manhood, it only proves your weakness as a human being. Strong men get to decide what happens in their lives instead of falling victim to time and circumstance.
Looks like Tiger is plugging a lot of holes off on and on the golf course. Bottom line is having fame and a lot of money you get a lot of action..
What is it with this idea that the common man doesn't have temptations? Give me a break. Just go to any bar on Friday or Saturday night, there are plenty of attractive girls looking to hookup with a decent guy. In other words, Ronny, just because you don't get any, doesn't mean the rest of us don't.
He never said the common man doesn't have any temptations. He simply suggested, accurately, that the degree of such temptations is much greater for a person like Tiger Woods, so much so that it's hard for us common folk to relate. I haven't liked a lot of Ronny's posts but I think he's spot on in this case. None of us have any idea how we would conduct ourselves if we were a person like Tiger Woods. You may think you know what you'd do but the conditions of his life simply aren't present in your's so it's basically impossible to know such things with certainty. The way you think and view the world at this very moment may have been entirely different had you formed your values while living in the spotlight.
So a five line post on clutchfans now requires cliff notes?? And believe me, if my wife read cf.net, we would probably not be getting along as well as we do now.
His father Earl was 1/2 African American, 1/4 Chinese and 1/4 Native American. His mother Kultida is 1/2 Thai, 1/4 Chinese and 1/4 Dutch. That makes Tiger Woods: 25% African American 25% Thai 25% Chinese 12.5% Native American 12.5% Dutch so ya...tiger woods is more asian than he is black..but black people only need 0.1% to claim all 100.

Ouch: http://msn.foxsports.com/golf/story/10465874/Parnevik,-ex-boss-of-Woods'-wife,-rips-Tiger Jesper Parnevik has become the first PGA Tour player to openly criticize Tiger Woods for his admitted "transgressions." Parnevik and his wife, Mia, introduced Woods and Elin Nordegren, who was their children's nanny. Parnevik, 44, was interviewed by Golf Channel and a local TV station after shooting a first-round 73 at PGA Tour Q-School. Parnevik said Woods, "should think a little bit more before you do stuff,'' adding, "and maybe not just do it, like Nike says. "I feel ... sorry for Elin, since me and my wife are at fault, hooking her up with him. We probably thought he was a better guy than he is.'' In a reference to speculation that there was a domestic squabble at Woods' Isleworth home before he crashed his SUV on Nov. 27, Parnevik said, "I would probably just have to apologize to her and hope she uses the driver next time, and then the 3-iron."
My point is that lots of common folks cheat. There is nothing special about people cheating, it's been happening for centuries. I don't know that the degree of temptation for superstars is really that much greater. There is plenty of opporunity for the average man to cheat, the difference is the the women won't be quite that smoking hot, but an attractive accountant making 80k will get attention from plenty of cute girls. Heck, the average man can get a prostitute or a stripper with a little bit of cash- is there that much difference in that and Tiger using his fame to get sex? This idea is also excusing Tiger for doing it. I'm not judging the guy, but that would be a pretty lame excuse. His wife is also far hotter than most women too, so you could argue that he should have less temptation to cheat because he basically has a perfect 10 waiting for him at home every night.
I think the temptation for the common guy is much greater considering the ability to be able to go anywhere with the girl and no one cares. If Tiger went to dinner all the time with different girls grabbing ass he would be caught on camera daily.
The funny thing is I wouldn't be surprised if Parnevik's had his own transgression or two in the past. He may in fact even be using such strong words precisely due to the fact that he feels guilty for banging somebody other than his wife recently.
