Well once again, call me old-fashioned but if you think you are going to grow tired of always "eating meat and potatoes" (figuratively speaking) then you don't need to make a commitment to that meal, if you see what I am saying. I do agree with you that Tiger's personal life needs to be left alone; however, a figure of his magnitude should expect that when they screw up, the media is going to scrutinize it to death. That is just the way our society is; for him to not understand that shows how incredibly naive he is of his fame and notoriety. Also what droxford said holds a lot of truth to it - notice that Tiger never said on his website that he cheated or had an affair. Now why would he dance around that subject and not use certain words? And to get upset at the media for "false accusations" when it turned out that those accusations for the most part are true shows that he is a major douchebag, IMO. I think it is pretty obvious that he is covering for Elin because he doesn't want her to go to jail for spousal abuse which is a crime that requires jail time in Florida.
I kind of agree with this, but more strongly: if he lives (and thrives, in fact) by the sword, so can he suffer by the sword. All this crying for privacy when you become a millionaire via a highly televised sport, and much more significantly, become a mega-star pictchman for all kinds of products. I mean, call a whambulance already.
In fairness to Tiger, I think he was just using the "I'm a celebrity and I screwed up big time, please forgive me" template letter.
Probably, but I can't help but sense some arrogance on his part. He is so used to being perfect that this whole debacle has been a lot harder on him as he had to actually admit he screwed up - something he probably is not used to doing.

Just in case my girlfriend checks her browser history here goes: You guys defending Tiger or saying this isn't a big deal are scum. When you commit to a woman you damn sure better know that not only is she the only one you will ever be with again but she's also the only one you will ever want to be with. I wouldn't touch either of these chicks or even Megan Fox when I know what I have waiting for me at home.

I think this is exactly right. There is a PR army behind Tiger Woods trying to shape stories in the press to create the ideal media image for him. He reaps huge financial benefits from this public persona. Whining about media coverage at this point is pretty ridiculous.
It'll be interesting to see if Tiger's handlers suggest that he all of a sudden appear out in public with his loving wife and kids, especially considering how private he is.

Ah this is so awesome. Don't care about golf so the only quotes I really ever heard from tiger was "not in my swing" and "the gold course looks good, my club....." I always thought he was a complete dork. I guess he took that racial draft pretty seriously. Man I hope they don't have a prenuptial. I want to see the carnage!
