The whole concept of him earning more than any other athlete is based on a simple economic fallacy. That is inflation. A dollar earned in Jordan's heyday went alot further than a dollar in Tiger's prime today. You can't compare 1980's dollars to post millennium dollars unless they are adjusting it to inflation. I don't see them indicating that in the article at all.
