Not true we played terrible and they needed this and wanted this more than us. You only need look at the schedule and see this was going to be a tough game for us. But more than that we just played the most important game this season against Portland after playing and beating Miami and Indiana. Of course we were due for a let down. As for the Thunder they were guilty of looking ahead passed the Lakers but were not making that mistake with us.

Big win for them but if onlu Harden and Garcia don't make 2 unforced errors and Beverly and Garcia don't make two stup fouls we are right there for the win. We played solid D and Howard was atrocious Lin made some boneheaded plays and Howard was atrocious and we still were in it with 2 minutes left.

The only thing I take away from this is enough low post Howard. He is just not good down there. He needs to either make a quick move before they double or just pass as quick as he gets it. He is not Hakeem. Will never be Hakeem and should stop trying these stupid 6 foot hooks. Dunks and anything 4 feet and in is all he is worth. He thinks he is the best player on the team but he is not. This is Hardens team and Howard needs to move closer to Deandre Jordan role than a Hakeem role.

I don't think so, they have our number big time. They spotted us a nice lead the last time we played them and came back and blew us out. We only scored 19 freaking points in the 2nd half.

They play us with a chip on their shoulders. I remember Durant telling our coaching staff and bench, " He cant guard me" talking about Harden.

Dude single-highhandedly beat us last night. Yes Westbrook did his thang but Durant was off the chains.

No, we are not fine. If rockets always lost 3-5 points to championship contender teams, whats the gain? Moral victories sucks n being just-lose-a-bit sucks too.

Rockets have one more crack at OKC and LAC before the playoffs... both games at home with a day rest. Winning both will be nice redemption going into the playoffs.

We got the Spurs number, so what.
You really think San Antonio has no chance of beating us in the playoffs?
Harden can't guard KD, but neither can most of the free world.

All things considered, you honestly see nothing to gain from having an opportunity to win a game, on the road, against arguably the best team in the NBA, when next to nothing goes right? It just wasn't our night, game against Portland was. That's sports. On to the next one.

Only difference between these two teams is they are mentally tested....they have went to the finals and have played in BIG games together. The Rockets, as good as they have been, are still a work in progress in that department.

Anyways, I think the Rockets will be alright against anyone they play come playoff times. They can play with anybody. 19 more games to go, to get better and ready for a deep run. GO ROCKETS.

What is even more scary is that Thabo and Perk did not play, both of them known to be Harden and Howard Stoppers

Not to mention Westbrook who will always try to kill us,let's just hope we don't we face them in the playoffs

OKC is Dwight's kryptonite. Because of that, they make us look bad.

Well, they may be upset by another WC contender before we need to play them. So we still have a chance.

Clutch three point shooting by the thunder saved this game for them. The Rockets had a good game, not great but decent and almost pulled off a win against the Thunder in OKC.

If we loose the technical fouls and shoot better from the line then we might have squeaked out the win. That and freakin Derek fisher goes 1-3 from three point but the 1 was clutch as it comes.

Avoid the thunder, clips, grizzlies, Spurs, Warriors in that order. I think all these teams would beat the rockets in a playoff series. Let me repeat for all the people that don't get it, "PLAYOFS"

They were definitely looking for a game to get motivated for. They toyed with Beverley yesterday and Russell almost baited him into getting overly-aggressive. But the real reason Houston doesn't play well against OKC is because the two stars, Howard and Harden, don't play that well against them. It's hard to see Houston beating them 4 times in a playoff series unless the stars play better.

Dwight needs to impose his will in the post. Until that happens it will be a dog fight between OKC and Harden.

This is depressing considering we have arguably one of the best shooting guards and centers.

I wouldn't get too hung up on this loss and Dwight's play. He'll figure out how to adjust. He had a bad game and reverted a bit to his old early season self - he'll have games like that. Howard didn't seem to be playing his game tonight, he also missed some shots he normally would make.

I actually thought we played pretty well for the exception of the 2nd quarter. We dug ourselves into a big hole, but we battled and held our poised and almost got back into the game. We never quit, and stayed in it. A few months ago this would have been a 30 point blow-out.

THe improvement is clear - and that's what you can ask for.

Again, hoping we are contenders that quick is a lot to ask for. I think this game shows we are missing one piece on the offensive end. But we are pretty close. Best we've played OKC on their court that I have ever seen.
