did you have a problem with paul pierce throwing up gang signs at al thornton during last years playoffs?

i didn't like that, but the celtics went on to win the whole damn thing

Missing shots and Yao not sealing off his man had a lot more to do with the loss than RonRon getting in Kobe's face after Kobe pushes him off...

Newbie to what? this bbs crap? I make more than the people that run this site I don't need status at a computer site that I have been posting on before people wanted Jay Williams before Yao Ming.

I'm sorry were you at the PhiSlammaJamma games I was at?

RONVICT, made himself bigger than the game at hand.......I get to bring him down to earth and say that we need good defense more than a bully mentality that detracts from the TEAM concept at crucial moments in games.

FIRST TIME AS A ROCKET, perhaps, FIRST TIME AS A PLAYER IN THE NBA, NO WAY IN HELL!

We need smart players not HARD players that turn into little b****es when they get lit up!

OH by the way the 3 pts he throws up have "LAZY" written all over them which also falls into the THUG mentality of no perseverance or hard work but a bunch of glory seekers.......

Defend the victimhood.......I knew it was coming.....why can't RONVICT get the ball to Yao and not at his ankles and to say all those missed shots by Ron did not cost us more is incredibly narrow sighted.

Blame it on the double teamed guy who does not think he is better than Kobe,WTF, he is not the only delusional one in Houston after all.

I thought we've been a "soft" team for so long people would want to shake things up a bit.

Im gonna sorta agree with op and I think that his mentality made it a bit worse but lets be honest. Its Kobe Bryant. The minute the lakers lose him there done. Gasol is nothing vs Yao and we have them very very well matched up everywhere on the court minus kobe going off on aaron brooks when ron and shane are out or guarding somebody else.

But im also agreeing moreso with the rest of the thread saying I wish ron would of done the Street Fighter uppercut if somebody was gonna slap my hands off them (legal or not). I like when ron gets aggresive because everyone gets scared. If you noticed kobe just was hitting outside shots after there little tussel, he didnt drive once. The downside to that is he was hitting them.

All in all this thread is useless and my vote goes to demoting to rookie status!

I don't recall the situation you are talking about but I am 100% positive that the Celtics did not play the Clippers in the playoffs last year

How come Kobe's thug like mentality didn't cost the Lakers the game? Did Artest have a one man conversation?

Just wait till playoff time, Yao and Lowry will start thugging it too.

There is not a color to bullying people and roughing people up.
I think the history books prove it.

I still think that reputation he has earned and the persona of "fearless" he attempts to project make it personal to other players,
and that he has already let his ego run the show a few times this season already,
and I hate the idea of Ron playing this organization and preventing us from concentrating on 2 things: a championship or a really kick ass superstar better and next to Yao (prferably young).

I think if Ron doesn't get us far into the playoffs he goes......and Tmac too.

I think that the bad boy image he has created for himself makes him the guy everyone wants to see go down in the end, or as in our case aren't surprised when it comes Rons show and not the Rockets.

    FAIL

    trash talking <> bullying

Even the president trash talks. Does it make him a thug?

Howbout Bird? He's a big trash talker but I bet you can't call him a thug right?
