Those throwbacks are freakin sweet! except for the mustard color...if they had replaced that with a silver or black color they would be sooo much better than the current ones.
I like the style of the throwbacks, but that is just too much yellow. There was a point in the game where I noticed several Rockets standing in front of a McDonald's banner ad and the association was unavoidable. I'd like to see those uni's with silver, white and or black replacing the yellow. Those Cavs jerseys are hideous.
I think the entire "throw back" fad is stupid. I think ALL the older jerseys are hideous and I hate seeing them. They need to stay in the past. Our throw backs? I guess not as bad as some teams but the ketchup and mustard colors? terrible. I cant wait until we put back on our normal Red and Silver jerseys. Leagues better! As for the "Houston" vs "Rockets" text on the front. I could care less.
I don't like them. I was commenting to my wife that they should use the 80's 90's jersey if they are going to do the throwback deal. I like our new jersey's just wish they weren't so damn shiny

How can they do anything but the championship jerseys ? Everyone wants to be a champion. No one wants to be a sad sack expansion club. STUPID.

They look like Boston College's unis. Bring back the Red and Yellow classics. What was ever wrong with those I don't know. But yes, either are better than those stupid pajama unis.
I have always loved the Red and Yellow and i thinmk it was a mistake to go away from it the first time when we went to pajamas and i think it was a mistake to not bring it back in some way with these new jerseys. Just the colors alone meant so much to the city of houston and the championships we won. The red an yellow look more like fire and and rocket then the new ones to me in every way. Seeing the throwbacks really made me wish they had incorporated the red and yellow into these new jerseys
I really think they should have went with some modifications to the championship jerseys to be as our new jerseys. The current Cavs jerseys stole the colors I would have liked The Rockets to use.
It's amazing, I used to think the Gold looked cool, nowadays it just looks like mustard. Someone also mentioned the unfortunate comparison to a McDonald's uni, a view I definetely agree with
I did like the throwbacks....but only cause they reminded me of the chmpionship ones....more so than the new ones....which I do like(at least the red ones anyway).... Heh....Behad sneaking in his answer in a totally different forum. sly fox...
