This is how it went down. Seattle receives: PG Earl Watson, SF Bryon Russell, and a future 2nd Round pick (DEN) Denver receives: PF Reggie Evans, SF Ruben Patterson, and F Charles Smith Portland receives: SG Voshon Lenard (exp. contract) and F/C Brian Skinner Sacramento receives: C Vitaly Potapenko and G/F Sergei Monia
Good news: Patterson finally gets a clean start in another city. Bad news: He has to register as a sex offender when he moves.
Good move by Seattle too. They have their guard situation settled for years and get a 2nd round pick for a decent player who is somewhat redudent to them (Evans).
forgot to post this on thursday sorry but here in la one of the maloof brothers was doing an interview with a radio station (the kings were playing the lakers that night) when the trade broke. the hosts were like hold on, we have our first trade of the day and at the time it was announced as only a 3 team deal (no sacto) when they asked joe maloof about the trade he was like :dude why do I care that trade means nothing. just found it funny i wasnt sure if he even knew that the kings were involved in the trade or that he didnt want to tell anything else that may not have been final. i would like to think its the latter but the way he sounded on the phone it sure seemed like he had no idea his team was involved
