It's been plastered all over the front pages of news. Look at CNN right now

If you're speaking of what would have happened had the races been reversed, well the majority of the time it is black people that show outrage. Maybe white people should follow suit.

If race was a determining factor, hopefully they'll be charged with hate crimes as well.

I agree. This is actually a premeditated crime with intent and racial motivations.

Another one of Edwards tweets from the CNN article:

James Edwards Jr., tweeted, "With my n****s when it's time to start taken life's."

ok...now it's getting racial AND political...

    http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/21/justice/australia-student-killed-oklahoma/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

The conservative news website townhall.com complained Wednesday that the Rev. Al Sharpton, a prominent civil rights figure, and the president, "who quickly opined on the George Zimmerman self-defense case against Trayvon Martin, are silent. Not only should they be publicly condemning the alleged killing, which is now an international incident, but they should be asking why the hell these teenagers were 'bored' in the middle of the day. Where were their parents? Where is Sharpton when it comes to condemning young black men joining gangs, as these three did?"

At the White House, spokesman Josh Earnest said Wednesday he was not familiar with the case. When asked why the president had not weighed in on it, he noted that when Obama spoke of the Trayvon Martin case, he also spoke in general terms "about the impact of violence in communities all across the country."

A look at Sharpton's Twitter feed and transcript from his August 21 program did not show any mention of Lane's death.

On Thursday, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, another well-known civil rights figure, and his Rainbow PUSH Coalition issued a statement referring to both the killing of Christopher Lane and the recent beating of a white 13-year-old boy by three black teenagers on a school bus in Florida.

The incidents call "each of us to a collectively resist all forms of violence in our society," he wrote.

"In particular black on black violence that disproportionately affects every facet of black life in America. These horrific episodes that leave all rationally thinking people appalled and others feeling paralyzed cannot be addressed by our silence and or abdicating our personal responsibility. We urge all persons who believe as we do in the (Martin Luther) King principle of peace all over the globe to rise to the challenge to pursue and promote peace and its principles. We must learn to live together in peace or we will most assuredly die apart in our own neglect."

Note: While I believe that black on black crimes are something that every president and civic leader has ignored and needs to be addressed ASAP, that skimmed over the evil that was done because of race. Find another spin Mr Jackson. I dare say I can't believe he hung out with MLK and this is what we are left with. Words and no action Jackson.

Sensationalizing the crime won't change anything. In fact, it only makes it more difficult for real cultural, political, and economic changes to occur. These young men were apparently all over the internet. Didn't their parents read their comments and see their photographs? At what point will parents start being held criminally responsible when their little darlings engage in wanton savagery?

And where were the school counselors? Did these young men have anyone assigned to them? To keep tabs on them? Lots of balls were dropped, and there will plenty of people covering their ass.

Sensationalizing is how these guys make their pathetic living - only it's only when whites are the attackers. But what have any of these civic 'leaders' done for one of the biggest problems for black America - black on black crime? Stay silent.

Anyone seen the shooters twitter feed?

On July 15, days after the George Zimmerman verdict, Edwards tweeted

Woods is a derogatory word for white people from the word, "peckerwood"

    total racists

...and this indicates that race hustlers like Benjamin Crump, Al Sharton and Jessie Jackson have blood on their hands for racially inciting the ignorant, drone-like masses who cannot think for themselves. The GZ case was NOT about race until these scumbags stepped in.

50th Anniversary March on Washington Will Emphasize Criminal Justice Issues

    http://www.thecrimereport.org/news/...nniversary-march-on-washington-will-emphasize

Tomorrow’s observances begin with a march from the Lincoln Memorial to the King Memorial, led by the Rev. Al Sharpton and King's son, Martin Luther King III.

They will be joined by family members of Emmett Till, a 14-year-old boy who was kidnapped, beaten and killed on August 28, 1955 after being accused of flirting with a white woman.

The national fervor surrounding Till’s death — for which no one was ever convicted — is reminiscent of another, more recent case.

Joining Till’s family at the rally tomorrow will be the parents of Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old boy who was shot and killed last year by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman.

Meanwhile...everyday occurances get 0 attention from him and others. Ignore those issues...lets forcus on these 2 cases 50+ years appart....

Maybe because these criminals were immediately arrested and will be charged with murder?

They never had a case against GZ and the race hustlers used it to their financial advantage.

They did? The people you call racial hustlers were asked to step in by the family of the victim. How did they get financial advantage out of this? How much financial advantage did they get?

I'm waiting to see if you know what you're talking about.

It's their job to keep race issues alive. How would they get paid to continue living the lifestyle they have become accustomed to if we all lived as one? So instead of handling the real issues that trouble today's blacks, they hop on their jet every year or so to fan the flames of any story they can find. That's how they get paid.

Tim Fischer, Australian Politician, Urges Boycott Of U.S. Following Christopher Lane Shooting Death

An Australian politician has urged tourists from that country to boycott the United States in response to the shooting death of Melbourne baseball player Christopher Lane.

Tim Fischer, who served as deputy prime minister under John Howard from 1996 to 1999, urged Australians not to travel to the United States. He said that such a boycott would send a message about the need for tighter gun control regulations in the United States, according to News.com.au.

"I am deeply angry about this because of the callous attitude of the three teenagers (but) it's a sign of the proliferation of guns on the ground in the USA," Fischer said this week. "This is the bitter harvest and legacy of the policies of the NRA..."

As deputy prime minister, Fisher led Australia's gun control reforms in the late '90s alongside Howard.

Christopher Lane, 22, was shot dead during a training run Friday in Duncan, Okla., by teens who were "bored" and "decided to kill somebody," police chief Danny Ford told the Associated Press.

On Tuesday, three suspects in the shooting were charged: Two with murder, and one as an accessory to murder.

"The teens aged 15 and 16 were charged with first-degree murder and ordered held without bond. Bond was set at $1 million for the 17-year-old, who was also accused of using a vehicle while a weapon was discharged," the Associated Press reported.
