I've got a question for Austinites....

Have any of you ever been to a bakery/restaurant near downtown called Sweetish Hill?

When I was a student at UT (you know, back in the horse and buggy days), I used to go there for breakfasts on the weekends. They used to make awesome eggs benedict, and they always had really strong coffee.

Just wondering...this thread was making me reminisce.

How do you make sure that you don't get student tickets?

 

Are both locations good? I think we'll try it out.

 

There was only one location back in the old days, but I'm sure either one would be good.

RM95....egg salad sand over there??? Mmmmmmmmmm...sounds like it's time for a road trip. I haven't been to Austin in 5 years.

 

I've never lived in Austin but I was dating my wife when she was doing a post-doc there.

Korea House - good and affordable Korean food and sushi. Not very good atmosphere. Similar to a China town restaurant.

Kirby Lane - great pancakes for breakfast.

Threadgill's - famous diner.

 

There are no student tickets for the Tulane game.

If you call their ticket office (maybe tomorrow cause of Isidore) you can get Terrace for $10 tickets.
