He's had big games before in the playoffs with us.

Game 5 in 2013 vs. Thunder: 31 points on 10-16 shooting (7-9 from deep), 8 rebounds, 8 assist in a Rockets must win. He hit big threes whenever the Thunder was rearing for a run.

Game 6 in 2014 vs. Blazers: 34 points on 9-15 shooting (4-6 from deep), 6 assist, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Even though we lost, he kept us in the game when everyone was missing and the Blazers were hitting everything.

Game 1 in this series could be considered a big game. Even though he didn't shoot well, he accounted for 53 points from his scoring and assists. That's big!

Its pretty ignorant to say Harden never shows up in the playoffs. Not saying his should be excused from some of the poor performances he has had but he has had big games for us in the playoffs.

If you are giving up on him that easily then you should really consider finding another team to support.

    To be clear...

In my original post, my point about Harden having a "big game" was more to quiet the critics and to hopefully eliminate any lingering doubts Harden had in his own mind because of those critics.

I personally loved the first 2 games of this series because we won despite him having a more "average game" (for him). We need more consistentcy from our other players if we really do have a shot at this thing.

Yeah, I'm sorry you have amnesia and can't remember a single thing about what happened a year ago.

Keep pretending 2014 playoffs never existed

Well he has been doing great with facilitating the ball with 11,6, and 9 assists. The first two games he was getting 20+ and really played like last year. Howard was the focal point due to their lock down defense on Harden. The difference is that we didn't have Brewer, Smith, or Terry to provide fire power. Our bench is the biggest change from last year. Not Harden.

Keep pretending that the the whole board doesn't know that you typed that last post while peeing sitting down in a Denny's.

Your righteous b****ery on this board leads me to believe that you're probably one of Bbs gimp jopatmc/basketballholics alter egos.

Don't care enough to investigate further insofar as your brand of suck is so tiring.

It's the playoffs, get the hell out of here.

#4 - Capela's confidence. Even though he has played limited minutes he doesn't look overwhelmed at all. His progress this season has been amazing. Coming from the preseason running around lost like a chicken with his head cut off to now is very encouraging. I love his demeanor...make the bucket and go right back to work. No crazy celebrating like some young players tend to do. Even with his free throws he looks totally confident. Bright future IMHO.

He's got a point. Fans don't give up on their players or the team. Your fandom is in question.

I thought a fourth under the radar plus was that this team just beat a Mavs team that got incredibly hot. I have to admit that they played really well and I don't think I've seen this team do this in the playoffs. It was quite the anti-crumble game. Poise, poise, poise, swagger, poise. Really solid offensive win. The first half defense could use a little work. Too many easy baskets, but still a really impressive game overall. I can't wait for game 4!

Harden almost identical to last year but trusting his team mates is awesome. We will go as far as our bench can carry us. I've actually loved Harden getting rest and McHale trusting the Band of Brothers to keep them competitive.
