Three coaches fined for complaining about officials..including Adelman

Seriously, I think Chinese government is the one who control Yao's public relation strategy. Being vocal(about refs) and tough (throw elbow) is not necessary a good move for Yao's image. 1st time Yao got some fair calls (game 4), blazers fans start smoking China big market conspirary theory. American dont want Chinese hero, fans are not gonna swallow LBJ-like superstar call on Yao.

 

what's funny is that the coaches are constantly on the refs all game criticizing every call, and then in the press conference they get fined for mentioning them. as if no one saw it during the game.

 

I thought if the League was going to punish inappropriate comments, they would have to announce within a period of time after the coachs or players said those words (48 hours?)?

Coach Adelman's complain was made after game 2 I believe and that was like a week ago already.

 

Tracy could earn some major points by paying this fine with his enormous salary. That would be a class move.

 

RA will get deals on hair patch/beard trimming razor from China to cover the fine, which may be profitable.

 

Stern on the defense yet again.

 

I really like Adelman's style, but he won't be a true Rocket until he gets hit for 100 Grand.
