This falls squarely on the shoulders of Piyush Jindal - his poor leadership over his term as governor of Louisiana has left the state in complete disarray. Hopefully the new governor can clean up his mess, but i'm not hopeful.

Im confused. Are you trying to justify cop killing?

Also I call bull**** on your 'cops are racist' position.

Everyone wants to be a victim these days..... so sad.

Did you miss the last line? Seems like he does care about the police officers and wants them to be as safe as possible. Maybe I am misreading it.

I feel like you are somewhat trying to justify Black people killing cops?
Even if you're 1% trying to justify that, you're a sick person and should burn.
I don't care that people have their feelings hurt.

I don't think that's whats happening. I think racism is an issue, and that people not experiencing that issue are afraid to call a spade a spade.

That's right but I don't have a D beside my name either. Both parties are rather ignorant these days in my honest opinion.

I don't believe in the Black Lives Matter movement myself. The intentions seem to be good but they are doing some very stupid things in order to attempt to get their point across, whatever that may be. Add to the fact that they have no real goals and no centralized leadership, they'll probably fail just like the Occupy movement eventually did.

And I don't care about feelings getting hurt either. I'm just trying to have a civil conversation about why people are killing cops, because without that dialogue , things aren't going to improve.

If that triggers you that's your problem.

Racism exists in the justice system and in policing in America. I can recommend you a good book on the topic if you are interested.

And if you are looking for people with a victim complex, I'd point you to the people who would rather blame Obama for everything rather than have a serious conversation about the actual issues people in this country are facing that would make them angry enough to kill cops.

We can ignore the issue, we can play the blame game -- but until we acknowledge the source of the pain, the violence won't stop.

sure you "don't care what color". i agree that it doesn't matter, but your six prior posts say otherwise, race baiter.

Yea sry. gotta call total bull**** on this. Why would you point me to a book? just give me the stats you are using to back the 'cops hate blacks' claim.

who is the victim in this analogy?

Oh is that all BLM wants? just to be acknowledged? lolz

The source of the pain is immaturity and lack of experience in the real world. You don't see many older African Americans going for this 'cops are racist' bull****. Just the young knuckleheads.

Wow.....it's like we just have to keep going further and further down this rabbit hole.

Too many fringe radicals taking cheap shots for no real reason.

Yet another sad tragedy. Since we do not have all of the details, I will refrain from comment even though I have a very good idea what is driving this. I will pray for the families of the fallen officers and hope the people who committed this crime receive swift justice.

Honestly, because I don't think anything will change your mind, so I don't want to take the time to look up the stats, and I'd rather just send you a link to the book to look them up yourself. If you're not interested, I understand.

I do have one stat off the top of my head though I'd be interested in seeing what you have to say about. Stop and Frisk. 85-90% of the people stopped in Stop and Frisk were black or latino. So, that wasn't about race?

    Cops, white america, "real Americans".
    Edit: also, gotta say "victims".

No, they want to fix the real issues, not just acknowledgement of them. We have to start with people acknowledging the issues are real first before they can be addressed though.

Also, there are plenty of older black folks who share the anger of the black community.

Apparently there were two guys shooting at each other before the cops stepped in. Regardless, maybe some of you should shut your yaps before all the facts come in, eh? Especially those who try to politicize it.
