    Of course, the Mayor of Amsterdam is a leftist, like @FranchiseBlade. Reality is, the socialists hate Jews. The Nazis were National Socialists. @FranchiseBlade is a socialist. They had an unholy alliance with the Islamists to go after the Jews in 1938 and they have it now. Some of them participate in the pogroms, some of them, like @FranchiseBlade, downplay the Islamist hate and make excuses for it, saying it is "sometimes peaceful".

    A significant faction of Jewish Zionists, especially in the early years, were socialists. The assertion that all self-identified socialists must share a common hatred of Jews is just nonsensical. I'm guessing this is a "If you're going to call me a Muslim-hater, I'm going to call you a Jew-hater" thing, because you're too intelligent to actually believe that.

    The thing is, there's much more cause to think of you as a Muslim-hater than to think of @FranchiseBlade as a Jew-hater. If we take all of your posts and replace "Islam" with "Judaism" and "Muslim" with "Jew", the virulence of your bigotry would be quite evident.

    1) Muslims committed organized pogroms against Jews in Amsterdam yesterday, literally "globalizing the intifada", which is what Muslims and leftists together have been chanting at rallyes and in encampments

    2) @FranchiseBlade claimed yesterday that chanting "globalize the intifada" is ok, because "intifada can be peaceful". A prime example of a socialist making excuses for calls to violence against Jews.

    Your made up "If we changed words in your posts" bullcrap is laughable. Yes, if you changed words, then the posts would have a different meaning. But my posts are reacting to facts and actual events, so no, you must not change words in my posts to create a strawman.

    He is not calling for violence or defending people who do. He is taking a principled free speech stance, which is that there must be a very high bar before equating words with calls to violence. You could simply ask him if he supports immigrant visa holders advocating for violent resistance. That would directly answer the question of what he believes, rather than turning this into a semantic battle over what "Intifada" means.

    It's not bullcrap. You see hatred and lust for violence in others, while refusing to see it in yourself. You should work on that.

    I'm not the one defending hateful protesters who call for violence.

    Anyone can see that like in the 1930s, when National Socialists and Islamists formed an alliance against Jews, today, socialists and Islamists are doing the same thing again.

    No, your concern is trying to split words with me over how somehow defending people who call for "globalizing the intifada" (which is exactly what happened in Amsterdam) is somehow ok.

    Be ashamed and do better.

    Just for the record American Jews (notably excepting the ultra-orthodox sects) voted for Democrats by a large majority this year w/virtually no change from 2020 rather than teh "America's Hitler" party - what a surprise (also jews are highly educated which corresponds with D votes)

    Conversely, a surprising number of muslim americans did NOT vote for Democrats as much as they did in 2020 or against the "America's Hitler" party, which also basically wants to bulldoze Gaza

    Just wanted to document it for the thread's sake.
