Yeah the Christian Lebanese I came across have way more hostilities towards Lebanese Muslims than any other including Israel. So I would be shocked aswell.

What Christian Lebanese you came that sided with the enemy of their own people? I find that almost hard believe. Lebanese muslims have done way more to the Christian population in Lebanon than what damage Israel has done in Lebanon

Which Muslims? Shias, Sunnis and the various Christian groups in Lebanon are a mixed bag when it comes to what groups they prefer and who they see as more grave threats to their existence. Hezbollah is not some good faith wholesome organization. So don't confuse me with saying that. But Hezbollah have protected Christian communities from entities like ISIS before. Some Christians support shia backed Hezbollah over the sunni population and Saudi and Israeli encroachment.

Yes there are absolutely Christian groups in Lebanon that support Hezbollah in the sense they see Israel and Saudi encroachment as worse than Hezbollah. It's a "best of horrible options" situation.

Hezbollah also over time has cared less about their religious dogma and now are more pragmatic in understanding basic PR and the need for support outside their Shia base of support.

Christian and Muslim militias including Hezbollah fought a civil war for decades and then had a very fragile power sharing government that is very unstable. Christian militias with the complicity of Israel also massacred Palestinians in Lebanon during the occupation of southern Lebanon by Israel.

To be seen - what the collateral damage was. If significant, then it should be condemned.

People get upset that Israel gets held to a higher standard than the terrorist organizations it is battling. Well, Israel isn't a terrorist state so yeah, it should be.

Still, you have to appreciate the brilliance of the operation. Not going to lie.

More example of denying facts that don’t support your worldview.

These are well known facts that not even Israel denies.

This is not for you as you’re in denial but for others who don’t know the history. This is the report from Israel’s own commission on the massacres
    https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/the-kahan-commission-of-inquiry

On February 8, 1983, the Kahan Commission of Inquiry released its "Report into the Events at the Refugee Camps in Beirut" and determined that the massacre at Sabra and Shatilla was carried out by a Phalangist unit acting on its own. While no Israelis were directly responsible for the events which occurred in the camps, Israeldid know of the Phalangist's entry into the camps.

The Commission asserted that Israel had indirect responsibility for the massacre: Prime Minister Menachem Begin was found responsible for not exercising greater involvement in the matter; Defense Minister Ariel Sharon was found responsible for ignoring the danger of bloodshed when he approved the Phalangists' entry as well as not taking appropriate measures to prevent bloodshed; IDF Chief of Staff Raful Eitanwas found responsible for not giving the appropriate orders to prevent the massacre.”

As long as Iran is allowed to be a puppet master, the middle east is going to be unstable.

I know this isn't some kind of boardgame but I'd tell Putin, we'll stop supporting Ukraine and you can put USSR back together like you want and you'll be a legend like you seek. But if cross over into a non-USSR country, we're going to get directly involved. In return, we need to chop the head off the terrorist leader - Iran/Ayatollah. I'm not going to try and install some western democracy but the Ayatollah has to go. Russia, China and US can come to some kind of compromise but the 1 criteria is no religious leader will run the country.

BTW - really clever move to take out not only their communication pipeline but also 100s of militant puppets for Iran. The problem is like everything else, you kill 1 and 3 more appear. So not sure this is a great long term strategy. But to be honest I don't think there is a great long term strategy for Israel. They want to remove Israel from the face of the earth. Then Christians. Then atheists. Then liberal Muslims. And once we are all assimilate to their way then we can live in peace and paradise with 100s of virgins waiting for us. Ludicrous as this sounds this is their goal and they won't let up.

The occupation of Southern Lebanon by Israel didn't even start before 1985. It ended in 2000.
