Okay, let's not continue this, I get it, you're an awful judge of QB talent. Let's just move on. You can keep saying that 1 plus 1 is 4 as many times as you want but it's not going to sway me even if 1. They are all numbers 2. They are all numbers less than 5 3. They are all representative of an age I've been in the past 4. I can represent all of them with digits on my hands.
Since there isn't likely to be any real news any time soon, I expect the conversation won't change much.
Not sure if serious, your saying 1 and 1 don't equal 2 lol Same type of prospect yet you have it ingrained in your brain to think otherwise
If you think that Bridgewater sounds dumb when you hear him talk then you'll get a kick out of Mallet. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/folWxFenWSw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> He did get 26 on the Wonderlic though so he's not as dumb as he sounds.
I like Mallet, he reminds me of Terry Bradshaw. My issues are with his decision making off the field.
Mallett is dumb as a bag of hammers off the field, but he's got a cannon for an arm, he's huge, and he's been in a similar system to what BOB is bringing here so it's intriguing.
He's got the worst side burns I've ever seen. You can't have sideburns like that and play in this league. Do not want
Dude if you've been keeping up with draft coverage wouldn't you conclude that the opposite is happening? I've hardly heard or seen anything about Teddy, I'd like to but seemingly every special and every behind the scenes what have you, is about Johnny and Bortles. I've heard a lot of Bortles or Manziel? Almost like they forgot about Teddy. If anything he's been hyped down . Honestly i thought him or clowney would go number one back when (and now looking back, foolishly) i thought there was absolutely no chance we'd have anywhere near the 1st pick. And even as the season progressed i wanted Clowney, but watching teddy's games just won me over. Honestly if he was a physical freak like Andrew Luck i think he'd be seen as a once in a generation guy. He's not, obviously, but i do think he will be a really good qb in this league. Not gonna say elite because that's foolish but you make it seem like he's gonna be a bust and would be lucky to make a practice squad. Yo, don't talk about Tommy. Homie's got some jukes I mean you could make the argument that it's easier for defenses to read his eyes but even that's a bit of a stretch. Idk why someone would complain about someone being too tall.
That is silly but i was trying to think of really good QB's who were 6'5" and taller and i can't really think of too many. I'd take my change on a 6"5' QB with the same skills as one who is 6'. I just looked at a list of the top "10 QB's ever" and the 2 tallest were Manning at 6'5" and Brady at 6'4". All the other ones were 6'1" through 6'3".
http://blog.masslive.com/patriots/2014/03/new_england_patriots_rumors_20_1.html Ryan Mallett became the subject of trade rumors almost as soon as he entered the NFL. Now, with Mallett entering the final year of his rookie contract, the New England Patriots have one last chance to trade the former third-round pick. And this time, it appears the Houston Texans could be a possible suitor. The Texans, who hold the first pick in May's draft and are in need of a quarterback, have expressed interest in acquiring Mallett, according to a league source. However, the source also noted that nothing is definite and classified the current level of involvement as "talk." If a deal were struck, the move would reunite Mallett with Houston head coach Bill O'Brien, who worked with the quarterback while serving as New England's offensive coordinator in 2011. Mallett has thrown four total passes during the regular season. He completed 55.2 percent of his passes for 447 yards with three touchdowns and an interception last preseason. It has long been believed that the Patriots would like to receive a second-round pick in return for Mallett, though a source previously told MassLive.com that New England turned down such an offer from the Broncos prior to the 2012 season before Denver acquired Peyton Manning. Houston holds the 33rd overall pick, which would likely be attractive to the Patriots, but it may prove to be more than the Texans are willing to part with. If they were to trade for Mallett, the Texans would be able to address a position other than quarterback with the first overall pick.
