haha.. no I m surprised there wasn't something about an 'aging haitian' or 'aging west indian' (dalembert)

perhaps something about a 'lightin quick oregonian' but that would be too obvious. ;)

My god that rant was painful to read.

Doc could have just posted "Do something!" and that would have been much simpler.

Great stuff on first glance. Thanks for reiterating everything I have been saying about AB, Lowry, Patterson, and Hill. Nice to know that I didn't do so bad for someone who apparently is "mind numbingly stupid", with a "sever lack of basketball knowledge", and "cannot comprehend the game".

    Now to the deciphering!

    GTFO.

Shane Battier is looking for a realtor to sell Daryl Morey's house. The Teflon Don is going to replace Morey as GM of the team before Morey manages to do anything with him.

Doc Rocket knows things that casual Rockets fans do not know.
    He sometimes writes in code.

I've said it before, but it seems like everyone stll gives Scola a free pass when he's essentially the pf version of Brooks from last year. He's exactly the kind of "slow" player the op singles out, he doesn't play defense, and he makes 11m this year to boot. Yea he gets stats, and he hits 50+%, but you demand more from your starting pf than stats. His intangibles would be better served on a playoff quality team. Right now we just need more talent period.

Actually, his production is the same as it was two years ago, just with worse percentages. Criticism's been the same throughout - he's a nice quick sparkplug shoot'em-up guard that is below average performing the traditional duties of a PG.

Last year, he was perfect for a team starved for talent. But now, especially paired with Martin, the machine gun tendencies are only getting in the way of a team concept. It makes things far worse when the gun is misfiring.

I've forever held the view that you shouldn't start a shoot first PG if you want to be a serious playoff team. Historically, these guys are a straight ticket to the lottery or short lived playoff cameos (Tyreke Evans, come on down)

Great instant offense off the bench, though
