? The only reason we got a first rounder for Budinger is that a certain coach who has a certain system desperately wanted a certain player. I think none of that applies to PPPPPPat.
Wow, I thought Carl got over his obssession with Patterson already. Guess not. What's funny with this thread is that should you rank TRob's trade value high, that would imply Morey did well with the trade. But if you rank TRob's trade value low, it would imply that Patterson had no trade value in the first place.
Compared to PPat's number of years in the NBA verses what fraction of a year of TRob's??? You seem to be missing that Morey wanted to take a risk at upside over someone who could possibly wind up being a role player. We can easily upgrade the PF at any point allowable, this is about upside and flexibility.
sour grapes, dude, sour grapes. TRob will break out - don't give up on him yet. I like PPat and all, but I did not seriously see him in our future. At least, we were able to get something for him instead of letting him walk in FA.
this thread could potentially become some bullsh!t. remember this was the same guy that said marcus morris was good.
Never thought someone could get this b****y over losing PPat. Move on, the trade is over with. Go become a Kings fan if you badly want PPat
The way he is playing this year, he is definitely not top 10, but he is definitely higher than the guy Bobcats selected.
re the topic, i think probably a mid round pick. 16-20, maybe 11-15. I think Boston would be the floor, that's probably 16-20. Btw, happy birthday to Robinson, it seems he's hit 22 a couple days ago.
if we get smooth package him with someone else for a top five and grab Di pO, until then or a big move for a power forward this thread is a waste by a bitter mind. Happy belated birthday T-Rob!
Carl's constant whining about the trade is pretty annoying, every thread has some kind of post from him about it. Plus you don't trade Robinson now that his value is at the bottom, you never sell at the lowest point, especially considering his high potential.
I'd take MKG in a heart beat. He may not shoot 40% from deep, but you will never ever ever ever have to worry about him going 110%, nor will you ever have to worry about him complaining. Other then Davis and Lillard, MKG is the most valuable player in the draft. And he's 19. By the time he's 23, and a full grown man, his defense, rebounding, and rim attacking abilities will be elite.
Why the hell would you trade him when his trade value isn't even high atm? You always buy low and sell high....
Yep. MKG isn't even close to Drummond value wise or in terms of potential or impact. Drummond is already the highest impact player in the draft. I would only consider taking Davis over him. Good Cs are such a rarity in the league and Drummond already has a game changing impact on D.
