Anybody think kostas will come over this season? I read a article saying that Portland was planning to bring him over. I'd be pretty excited if he came over for us, he's got great size for a 3/4 man at 6'8 230 and if I read the stats right shot over 50 percent from 3 on his team. Love to see him and aldemir come over.
Once again, DM rises to the challenge and impresses. We had literally NO leverage in this situation yet we still managed to clear his salary without having to surrender a first rounder or any significant sweeteners. Think about it: in the same situation, Miami was only able to get ONE second rounder for Beasley - a 15-6 player at the time!
I like the deal. I like it alot and I like TRob. This is a no brainer deal that got us 4 seconds but really the greek is a plyer that can shoot and come in and contribute now. Plus the other Spanis Center guy I like to and was looking at in the draft. Great deal IMO. Oh and let me not forget we clear space to get Howard in the deal.
Best of luck to Robinson, but yeah not impressed, it is a financial move that honestly doesn't mean much at this point just like the trade that brought Robinson here time will tell.
Only because I trust in Morey. 2nd rounders have a low success rate, but Morey has been as successful as anyone with 2nd round picks. I have to think he hits on 1 or 2 of these 4 assets. Morey knows 2nd round picks are more valuable than late 1st rounders, and certainly 4 are more valuable. The real win won't happen unless Morey can make good use of the cap space, which was the teams priority.
Wasn't Portland planning to bring him over, but actually his agent asking Portland to trade him if they didn't plan on bringing him over this year. He wants to come. By the looks of it, he's ready to play a back-up role too. Together with Garcia, back-up SG and SF are well-covered.
Win-win. Rockets shed his contact, and Robinson can rent a nice condo in the Pearl District, and enjoy the many brewpubs.
kostas alone worths the late first round pick this draft and more(according the report posted earlier). Todorovic is someone I wished Morey to buy a pick and draft...he's considered as first round talent with better rebounding/block rate than DMO in Europe. This is almost equivalent to 2-3 late first round picks depending on what the other 2nd rounders look like. Huge win for us.
Thankfully, I don't think so. But, they were LOUD and proud up 'til about 9 months ago - it was almost as annoying as listening to LOF's.
I like the deal especially considering the situation with Howard. I had higher hopes for Robinson the player, but still think the Rockets got more value than what they had left for Patterson.
Wow, really quick release and excellent form with high arch. I love his shot and at over 50% from 3pt land he'll be our Novak/Dunleavy kind of guy.
