i'd go chris young or tulowitski for r o y, john cruk said it a couple of years ago when it was between wily t and ryan howard, "he was good enough at the beginning of the year to make the team and he should be rewarded, this is the rookie of the year, not rookie of part of the year"

    jimmy rollins for mvp
    jake peavy for cy young
    valverde for rolaids relief pitcher

Except Howard came up in the middle of the season, whereas Pence came up in late April. That's a huge difference.

Also, Chris Young hit .237 with a .295 OBP... he doesn't deserve any part of Rookie of the Year with numbers like those.

tulowitzki is my ROY... Braun has better numbers but his defense is purely crap. he had like 4 errors in one game down the stretch.

There's a lot more to the game than hitting home runs. Dude struck out 141 times. His OPS, for hitting that many HR's, was total crap. He's not even in the debate.

Tulowitzki, Braun and Pence are the only one's to be considered.
