Oh man, that sucker is heading right towards us. It looks like it's moving pretty fast, so hopefully it won't last long. Golf ball size hail? Good thing I have a garage.

It better not knock out the electricity during the Rocket game.

I survived. That b**** came through fast. We lost power for about 15 minutes here in Fort Bend. It's already gotten a lot cooler outside.

I was just driving home from Kroger on 290, and all of a sudden it rains HARD. As of now, I can hear the thunder.

    wow!!!

kick arse storm! it's beautiful what muth nature can do sometimes. tons of lightining here in sugarland about 15 mins ago and i'm sure there was a funnel or something nearby.

the lightining wasn't the usual color. it was like a florescent (sp?) blue. it was like the color of a glacier. the thunder wasn't the loud crackling sound either. it was like a hum or something. it almost sounded mechanical. it sounds corny, but it sounded something like a transformer would sound if it transformed into it's robot or car mode in real life. really f'ing weird.

    be safe people. stay indoors.

Holy Schmoly! My tree in the backyard now resides on my neighbors roof and all three sections of my fence are toast.

It's been a while since I've witnessed mother nature at her finest.

It is suX0r that it's gonna come out of my pocket to fix the mess she made. :(

PS- And I watched it from the garage with the doors open the whole time. What a show.

    Damn.

How much damage did you do to their house? What part of town do you live in?

Yeah, the thunder never got loud.

It was as if the storm it's self was WAY up high.

i enjoy the lightning sometimes and even the sound of rain, but how can anyone actually like a thunderstorm. that just means it's wet outside for a long time. no basketball, no baseball, no nothing. driving slow.

y'all sound like y'all were in a hurricane or something. up here in NW houston (spring actually) it just rained hard for a while and that was it as far as i can tell. nothing too bad. certainly no trees on houses.

i'll have to go outside real quick to see if it's cold.

Man, that was nothing. I kept waiting for the bad part and it never came. It just rained a little and that was it.

    What a disappointment.

From the looks of it this morning the house sustained only minor damage to the corner section of their kitchen. We were up until 2am just trying to make sure it was settled and would cause no further damage. Now for my Thanksgiving weekend I get to build a fence! WOOHOO.

Anybody else witness the green tint in the sky when the lightning would illuminate the sky? That, along with the dancing winds completely reminded me of Hurricane Alicia. I was almost skeert.

btw- I am on the SE side, Clear Lake area.
