So mostly not dangerous. Definitely not just from the left. Most of the dangerous examples from this behavior come from those on the right.

Public whining and crying and playing the victim in these cases also comes almost always from the right.

Police encounter the public a lot more than the bad incidents that happen. A lot more like hundreds of thousands

But when things go wrong, it’s the municipalities that end up paying for bad behavior. The amount is certainly not a rounding error for our large metros.

People just want bad cops held accountable and the system sucks.

 

The Trump years were seen as highly polarizing, but equally bad were the McConnell obstructionist years with Teabaggers, who's "grievances" all but melted away (except one,,,) despite Trump doing the exact same things (spending like a drunken sailor...during boom years, expanding the scope of government, giving handouts to everyone like Halloween candy).

When you had them deliberately target Blue States and admitting it on paper, there's no way to avoid it as fighting words.

As for the OP, city folk are more prone to do this and I'm sure younger groups are doing it more. Political affiliation, pronouns, or some "awareness signaling" like veganism, gridless,, or varying degrees of wokeness are more like achievement badges than actual causes that are Sisyphusean when taken up alone.
