Politically incorrect and definitely in poor taste, but dang, for one night only,we shall call our 3-point shooters the Downtown Snipers.
No need to imagine. It's happened several times this season already. It's hard to fully assess the Rockets' depth until they fill out the final 2 roster spots, but even now, they're loaded in the backcourt. If Morey can land a big man and another wing player, they'll have enough talent to go up against any team, including the Warriors. No, we don't have their star power(no one does, not even Cleveland), but we will be arguably the only team in the league who can beat them at their style of play. Everyone else like Memphis, San Antonio, and Cleveland has to beat them at the defensive end of the floor to stand a chance.
Still have holes. When Ariza needs a breather whose going to guard a tough wing player like a Kawhi, Durant, or Lebron?
That's why our roster isn't complete. Morey knows we need another wing and big man. And we've got money to spend thankfully. Plus who wouldn't wanna come here given the success this team is having(well, aside from maybe Bogut)?
It feels good and is easy on the eyes to be finall y playing 5 vs 5 all game. WIth Brewer it was 4 vs 5 on offense, with Brew and Anus it was 3 vs 5 Anyway our bench has gone from having only 3 capable players to having only 3 duds in the roster - Body guard Brown, onauanuanauku and Chow Key
Politically incorrect would be to call them the Downtown Spicers. As in, they got the floor, and they got an attitude.
I started getting concerned as well in the 4th. It's like "Uhh... this is where we usually play Ennis and KJ. Who do we play now?!?"
what is it with people's fascination that ego or lou need to start. it's clearly meaningless. winning teams need a balance. guys thrive in their roles and you put your players in the best position to get wins as a team. All that individual stuff like they need to start is irrelevant. They get their minutes regardless.
I think Dekker, Harrel will have to get some minutes at the 3. Not many but some. Need a big though Rocket River
i dont know how bogut fits this rotation. Montrez wont play at all in the playoffs then. We're going to have to run a 10 man rotation in playoffs though.
it very well could be which is extremely rare, to really consistently go that deep in the playoffs unless of course blowouts. For it to actually go 10 deep it all depends on the big rotation and I believe that is truly matchup based. Our wings are all going to play and that's 8 people for sure with EG, Lou, Dekker off the bench. 9th and 10th man pretty much depends on which big is effective or provides the best matchup in each case
yes but like i said the 9th and 10th man (if it evens gets this deep) depends on which big is effective or provides the best matchup in each case. of course there's not going to be 1 center playing the whole series. come on now haha
