This team will never win anything with Brock Osweiler at QB!

How has the stupidity started so quickly? Who is stupid enough to judge the present or future on 3 series of the first game of preseason? It's almost as completely stupid as judging anything that happens in the 4th preseason game.

    Guess I shouldn't be surprised...

Some of you people are so stupid. Brock is a proven champion, if you don't know he was the QB for the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos last year. He was one of the few QBs to be able to take down the New England Patriots last season, on the road too.

Tom Savage has done nothing but look like a mediocre back up in a few preseason games. WOW, he threw a couple of TDs against the 3rd and 4th string players on one of the worst teams in the NFL from last season!

Brock Osweiller may not be a star, but he is a super role player?

i'd rather him be a Mega role player, or if we're lucky enough, Ultra role player.

I like Brock. But Brock beat New England in Denver, not at NE

i remmeber that game well that was the game, gronkowski took another hit to his leg, and got carted off. Brady and pats kept going 3 and out thanks to the dominant denver defense. and in overtime cj anderson or some runningback ran about 45 yards for the gamewinner

brock really did nothing, despite having all those weapons on offense

If we're fair, it was literally the 2nd start of his career and he passed for only 10 fewer yards than Brady did that game. I mean, it wasn't a great performance, but he was good enough for his team to win, and that's what matters.

But we needed a QB, and now we're set. Rick, I'm extending your contract.

Your take on Teddy Bridgewater is quote different, considering he was "good enough for his team to win" all last season as a Viking.

    But he has small hands.

    Small hands = auto bust

So Brock didn't make some clutch throws that led to them going into OT?

No, Brock did nothing the entire game because CJ Anderson had a big run in OT.

The difference of course being that all your boy Teddy did was hand the ball off all season long and you still hail him as Aaron Rodgers 2.0....

Can't remember the guy's name, but there was someone on for Paul Gallant last night around 7:15 talking about speed dating. He thought it was crazy people could actually intend to find love after just 15 minutes. Just like all the knee jerks here after 7 throws in a preseason game.

He pointed out: (paraphrasing from memory so i might be a bit off)

Brady went 5-10 for like 40 yards his first game
Big Ben when 6-12 and through a pick on his 2nd throw
    Brees was 2-6 or something

In big ben's 2nd game, on the first play he threw another pick.

All of these were in regular season games. Can you imagine if Brock threw a pick in that first game? A PRESEASON game... People need to chill out and let him get comfortable.

Yea, I believe so. He was basically just trying to show that 7 throws is not enough to go crazy over.
