cardale actually flashed talent and looked like the next cam newton againist the colts. Osweiler placement doesnt give our recievers chances for YAC, Cardale is already anticipating throws and throwing into small windows

Brock Osweiler doesnt have the potential to lead us to a superbowl, he was benched for a washed up version of peyton manning for crying out loud

if i were rick smith, i would cut brock right now, and trade for cardale jones( before his trade value shoots up even higher)

 

Why would you cut Brock and carry so much dead money? Push Brock to 3rd string if you really dislike him that much...cutting him makes zero sense.

And this is the preseason. The Colts already have a bad enough defense and Cardale wasnt going up against their first team. Cant jump the gun like that if you want to be a GM some day.

 

AlsoIi dont care about the competition that was on the field, when im studying a qb I look for specific throws, ball placement, footwork, mobility, and how they maneuver in the pocket. Having arm strength like cardale is great, but its not a big factor to me

 

dude carson wentz came in the 3rd quarter againist the bucaneers, goff played againist 2nd string too againist cowboys..

neither showed the poise, and arm talent i like to see in top 2 picks

not true, the preseason is used for a lot of things. You can scout other players, Cardale has improved since his last year at ohio state. He flashed the tape of a top 5 pick

 

no, not at all. I was just blown away by the tape i saw of cardale and think we have better chance of molding and winning with cardale than we do with brock. Of course brock can prove me wrong, but i doubt it

 

Lol he lost his starting job this past season. Obviously he's not as great at you think he is. Which leads into his 4th round draft selection. All teams passed on him at least 3 different times based off the awesome film you describe.
If you're saying he went from 4th round talent in February to 1st round talent in August, then you really just need to delete your account and stop talking football to anyone.

 

Tom Savage should be the starter. We should go into the season with Brock as the starter and let him Matt Flynn for Russell Wilson. Brock has trade value, maybe we can trade him to San Francisco or Canada lol

not sure if they were covering up for pedestrian numbers, but both Brock and O'Brien said they were running a vanilla defense and hadn't really shown the full offense

maybe they have a plan to add complexity incrementally and Brock is just implementing that plan
