This team will never win anything with Brock Osweiler at QB!

I don't get the love for Savage. He has not proven that he is any better. He has looked good but only at times in the preseason. Savage was IRd so they won't have to keep 3 QBs on the roster. I'm okay with that.

The bad Fitzpatrick was bound to show up but when he is good he has leadership qualities that none of the other Texans QBs have. His teammates want to go to war for Fitz...until he starts throwing 10 interceptions in 5 games lol.

    Was that "tough, angry" Brock?

No wonder he's Charmin under pressure.

It's not so much love for Savage, it's Brock's sucking for high dollar. Brock wouldn't be so bad if cheaper. We paid him and didn't draft a QB because of him.

Also consider Prescott has no receivers compared to Brock. Sure, the OL and RB is a better situation, but at least Brock has maybe the best 1-2 in the league.

Brock is currently ranks 29th in QB rating and YPA. He's thrown 7 INTs in five games. If he were an unpaid intern, he'd be bad.

Well but in that scenario we could play Savage.

No way we're benching a guy with that contract.

Ain't my money so I'm not tripping. You can argue it takes up cap space but the team was all the way up to the cap. They still have some cap space even with that huge contract. Now if it affects Hopkins resigning, that's a different story.

We got Will Fuller. The dude is going to have a hard time with physical DBs. Same with Hopkins but to a lesser degree. The run game opens things up. Remember that the Packers with their all-world QB and pro-bowl receivers lost to the Vikings as well. The physical play of the DBs allows the D-line to be more aggressive.

You don't bench your QB after five starts, regardless of money. He gets the year to try and figure it out. He's still just 25 with 12 career starts - that won't work for long - but it buys him a year.

Goes to show how ass backwards this front office is. Winning football games isn't the number one goal.

We all want to talk about Prescott even though Goff can't get on the field, Lynch looked really bad, Cook looked bad before getting injured, Hackenberg should have been cut, Kessler couldn't do anything for the Browns. And they were all picked before Prescott. I was not giddy about Osweiller but I understand why they did it. He was the highest rated free agent QB available. He was going to be expensive. I get that. I just think they should have paired him with a strong running game. I wanted a power back in the 2nd or 3rd round of the draft.

Whatever you do, don't blame that on Hopkins or the locals will revolt.

Even Ryan Mallet could throw the ball to DeAndre Hopkins accurately.

Not a great throw, Hopkins could've tried harder.

Bomani Jones: The Texans have thrown money down the toilet in paying Osweiler.

heck Brian Hoyer made a living throwing it up to Hopkins, that was literally our offense.
