This team will never win anything with Brock Osweiler at QB!

Having a more effective running game will help.

Targetting the tight ends in the first half also helped.

I do love that we have "Texans fans" arguing about Brock Osweiler not being "cost effective", I never would have thought we'd have so many Zac Diles fans.

Luck #1 despite his team's record. I like Mariota by a hair over Osweiler. But since Texans actually have a 2 game division lead now and won head-to-head vs Titans, can rank Osweiler #2. (Yes it doesn't make sense, don't include W/L for Luck, but include it for Osweiler. But had to include something for a tie breaker)

He has also won with Matt Cassel, garoppolo , brissett. The first super bowl Tom Brady was a game manager.

Looks like this is behind a paywall, does it say anything interesting?

Bobby has done his share of complaining too. Shoots we all complain from time to time.

    It's a force of habit.

I complain when it's valid. I have nothing against complaining when there is good cause to do so but those who are just constantly whining and calling just about any level of success short of winning a championship "mediocrity" are just annoying as hell.

We have to give Brock some time. Four games is not enough data to say if we are over paying him or not. And again we are not paying him **** so why are we so worried about how McNair spends his money.

I hear you on that and agree that it is annoying. We are four games into the season and we're 3-1.

Agreed, I don't think there's a single person that would have been unhappy about that start if told about it in the preseason.....well except maybe those picking between 3-6 wins for the whole season.

I don't personally care that the BCS computers don't like our wins so long as they keep coming.

Honestly, I care more about the team than Brock being the #1 QB in the league.

    Would you rather:
Brock go 31/35 375 yds, 3TDs 0 INT and we lose by double digits?
Or 20/35 190 yds 1TD and 3 INTs and we beat the Vikings by 3 at their house?

I know we want a long term answer at that position, but for a fanbase that has had LITERAL TRASH for all but 3 years of the team's existence at that position, we are acting pretty entitled right now. Aside from 2009-2012 Schaub, this is the best QB this team has ever had, and we are yelling about not drafting one of 4 other QBs that are doing OK.

I mean, what were we thinking drafting Travis Johnson instead of Aaron Rodgers in 2005 (yes I had to look it up).

boxscore stat guy sees 5tds/ 6ints. I see 8 tds, 5 ints with a 90 rating with fuller and ref aid. those numbers are closer to his actual play than not, otherwise we'd be 0-4. When we needed first downs v KC, he stood in there and delivered. But at some point whether just bad luck, like the 'rangers luck' those ints definitely have to come down.
Getting him out of spread formations for at least 40% percent of the plays will be heaven sent. I mean who calls a shotgun pass on first down and goal from the 5 yard line? godsey that's who!

Keep up the screens and play actions and pray that the tackles can hold on for an extra 1/12 of a second and brock will look much better in that stat box.

Agreed, though by my count it's more like 7 TD's and 3 interceptions if his WR's were playing like they should.

Why must people exaggerate to make a point?

Who believed/expected Brock to be the league's best QB?
Right... since we've never really been much, don't want much.

That reasoning is worse than the complaints.

Brock hasn't ever shown he's been very good and he got a big contract.

We passed up on multiple good QBs in the second round.

Yes, that is good reason to complain. If you won't complain about that then you're just OK with sucking

As much as you're bashing Hopkins, your creative arguing-self should mention/acknowledge Hopkin's presence makes everything else easier for Brock. Does he get credit for that? You've neglected to mention that scenario in every post (probably 30+) regarding this subject.

I just watched some Titans highlights... you previously blamed Hopkins for that first pick, utter silliness. That ball was behind DeAndre and put him in a dangerous position making him extend his arm up and backwards like that. No way that's Hopkins' fault, zero. The nice catch by Fuller over the middle was not a good throw, it led him too much and that's why he was hit like that so quickly after making catch. The 2nd INT was under thrown, bad pass. Surely, if you wanted to criticize Brock your creative arguing-self could, but for whatever reason you don't.

Now, I'm NOT saying Brock will be a bust or can't improve, just saying, thus far, he isn't playing well. There's nothing wrong/inaccurate about that statement.

You are clearly riding some agenda, rather it be 1) you're still mad at Hopkin's holdout and/or 2) you're justifying some previous comment you made predicting Brock will do well.

If the ball wasn't tipped up into the air by Nuk, is it an interception? No. I didn't say it was a good pass, I said that Nuk was responsible for making it an interception and he was. 100% his fault actually.

You talk about me not giving Nuk credit....but that's not true, I expect him to be an elite WR which is why I even bother talking about it. If I didn't expect more from him, why talk about it? Nuk creating 3 interceptions isn't what you expect from him.
