We have problems if we have no confidence in a guy we just gave $37M guaranteed to

He's also only in his 10th start. I think people forget that we have to be patient with him because he will go through growing pains. Now If you want to say that maybe we shouldn't have gave that much money to a rookie, then thats a discussion in itself.

It's too early to tell but so far Brock will be lucky to be a "game manager." Our o-line isn't giving any help to Brock but so far he doesn't look like he has improved since last year. Again, too early to tell but he will have a long week to figure something out against the Titans.

Yeah, for sure he had a rough game. I think that the game plan in general had something to do with it though. For whatever reason the Texans just seemed to avoid doing what was working and they were trying to force things that weren't working. Lamar Miller has poor vision and he's not a between the tackles runner yet they kept running him up the middle leading to 3rd and long time and time again. That's a really bad place to put your QB in against a good, very well coached defense.

Brock was audibling at the line like crazy pretty sure a lot of times he changed the play into a run. No one will ever know what plays the coaches called only to have Brock change it at the line.

They probably told him to change it if he saw a certain coverage. That's my guess anyway.

May have been the right move if the OL didn't suck.

Game plan/adjustments, stupid ST turnovers and penalties.

eta: Miller will probably be a fine b/t the tackles runner once there's a place b/t the tackles to run.

Well we've won 2 out of 3 games so that's something.

He'll drop 3 TD's on the Titans next week and all will be forgotten.

Both he and Lynch are better than Brock and make less money.

Elway laughing at us, Denver laughing at us, Patriots laughing at us, the whole country laughing at us

In fact, no one is really laughing at the Texans. That's just in the minds of fans who are overreacting to the team's first loss.

Elway and Denver isn't laughing? The media who hated on Brock before the season started aren't laughing?

We have equal amount of blowout-shutout losses as wins in our last 4 games. Two of those games were national spotlight, extra pressure, both losses. The national suckage is a trait that has always plagued this franchise. When we do win primetime, it's barely. We trailed the Bears 4th Q, they still haven't won a game, and are getting beatdown on SNF right now. The defense hasn't stopped the run all season. Brock, the coaching staff, and the oline all appear suspect.

Time will tell how everything plays out in the end.
