Here is one: The "Who The ****s?" As in come Sunday, my cousins are going to say "Who the **** is Carl Landry?" once he dunks in Pau Gasol's face!!! Or "Who the **** is Luther Head?" when he hits a cold-blooded three pointer!!!
The Houston Rockets will be known as Clutch City forever, but this particular group of guys on this amazing run should be the "Who The ****s?!"
I believe that the way many have embraced these Houston Rockets and their style of play, I sat alone and thought, ya know, this team is very similar to the Luv Ya Blue Oilers in these ways: Luv Ya Blue had one superstar player: Earl Campbell Luv Ya Rockets has one superstar currently: Tracy McGrady (2 if Yao was healthy) Luv Ya Blue Defense was tough and gritty and got major respect from fellow opponents, especially those vaunted Pittsburgh Steelers. Luv Ya Rockets has many glue players who are tough and gritty and opponents respect that. Luv Ya Blue was a team that represented Houston in all its glory Luv Ya Rockets is a team that now represents current day Houston I know Clutch City will forever be the nickname of the Houston Rockets for what they did in 1994 and 1995, but if you wanted a 2nd nickname, I think Luv Ya Rockets would be a nice one!
