WTF are you talking about? I never called in to talk with Morey...not once.....I think someone is jerking your chain.

If I called in to talk with Morey it would be 2 brilliant minds talking basketball.

    ;)

Someone frequenter from this board did and bragged about it one time. For some reason I thought it was you. Sorry.

In any case, what would you ask him given the chance. Just curious.

I haven't thought about that, but if I did, I would probably ask him about how difficult it is to make quality organizational decisions when the Luxury Tax and salary cap are set barriers.

Or, perhaps which is more important in evaluating a player, pure talent, or a stylisitic fit for the other Rockets players?

I don't think you could ask him anything about individual players on the Rockets, he would not talk about that, nor should he.....maybe you could ask him if Dorsey will get some time in the NBDL this year......but I doubt he would be all that forthright about his players...

Good questions. I think he easily values stylistic fits over talent. He always says that he has turned down opportunities to sign more talented players to go after guys who are ball players(Battier, Scola, Brooks, Landry). He know how to complement yao and mcgrady.

At the same time, if you can get more talented with very low risk, you have to take it.

The 4:35 mark shows our past assassin...he could take on anything except injuries. Once we near the playoffs Artest will be doing the same.

Perhaps, but so far he has just been trying to fit in....I think the leadership whole from our better players is alarming, Artest may be the only one that can fill that gap.

Let's just hope that if he does the cap stays on the crazy glue.
