This team needs a killer

Thats why KG and Pierce where such great winners until last years.

 

No kidding. It's obvious they all couldn't carry teams by themselves. But if you're at all familiar with the point of this thread it's to talk about how we wish Yao/Tracy/Ron had their same type of "hate to lose" mentality. We all wish they played with fire and passion. Accountability is an issue too.

Try watching a Celtics game and you'll know what we're talking about. This team has the type of swagger and chemistry I would KILL to have.

 

Coaching is not overrated at all. The reason the Spurs put out the effort every game is because all of them (including the big 3) know that Pop will tear into them if they don't. He still throws fits on the sideline when the effort lags. Adelman doesn't do that. He doesn't command half the respect from players a coach like Pop does. When Tracy or Ron take stupid shots (repeatedely) or when Tracy is lazy on defense, they know Adelman won't say anything about it.

Regarding RudyT, he would say any and everything to the players on the sideline. He was a major screamer. (But to the press after and between games, Rudy would never degrade a player).

Coaching IS part of the problem. Part of it is our best players don't always set the right example for the others to follow. The chemistry on the Rockets is not good and everything won't be just fine if/when all players are healthy. The the Rockets need to get healthy in a hurry to make a deep playoff run. Good chemistry that can survive under pressure doesn't develop in 15-20 games.

 

Being a pessimist doesnt help any better. I didnt say there was anything positive about losing to Memphis, infact, I said it was pitiful. I just said that without 2 of our 3 stars, you cant expect a guarnteed win in the NBA, no matter how bad the other team is.

If the Rockets piss you off this much, go find another team or sport.

What else is there? Are you going to be a bad fan and just give up? Thats what losers do, go be a bandwagon fan. I'm not making excuses, I'm just being optimistic. Once/if we start winning, come back to the board. Im sick of people crying every time we lose. Deal with it, be a real fan, not a 12 year old girl.

we need to get all our players back.. then on the same page is what we need. I wish Deke were back. He is the true originator of "NO LAYUPS" even at 113 or whatever age he is. It looks like layup drills nowadays.

Dont pretend like you know me, I've been a fan since I could walk, which was a long time ago. How can you tell me to be a better fan when I am sticking up for the Rockets and everyone else is talking ****?

 

Nobody is talking ***** i simply said... We cannot keep saying to ourselves wait til we get healthy. What if we never get healthy, will it be ok to rockets fans to not go to the playoffs... No of course not.....

I am saying seize the moment with what you got! We have enough people to win, with or without ron... we can win. Play with a little pride and passion and give us a shot to win night in night out.

Thats all you can ask for with a depleted team....thats all my bandwagon asks for is to play with a little heart, and stop using the excuse of MAN, WHEN WERE HEALTHY..... JUST DO IT!

 

I get your drift, my bad, I shouldnt question peoples fanhood. Everyone here that is posting, no matter positive or negative, is most likely a fan.

Being a fan though, it is hard to read constant negative posts about your team, even from other fans. In my first post, I just said that you cant expect too much when we are out Ron and Tracy. After I said that, people jumped on me for being positive, so I lashed out. Never would have thought in a million years that another 'fan' would give me lip for being psoitive and optimistic. No reason for people to tell me im an idiot for things I didnt say and things I dont believe. Some people on here are here just to argue, you of all people know that.
