Go back watch the tape, see how SGA and Shoreder drove in the 4th. Had relied on Gallo shot the long ball, we would have won.

doesn't matter, shooting 50 3s is more tiring than shooting 50 mid range jumpers or layups.

It seems everyone convington guarded drove by him everytime. How does that happen with an elite defender? I am at a loss for words.

again, I was watching the TNT close up feed like courtside. They had to fight everything on the defenisve end because OKC was driving, and settle with three on the offensive end. It's not excusing them. It's pointing out the problem. We can all sit here moan and whine about why magic didn't happen, or why the basketball God doesn't love us.

Not excusing them, this is on Mike D 90% and Harden too needs to be more aware. Harden was not even looking to drive to the cup.

RoCo was trash today defensively. Tucker had to be everywhere. If RoCo not defending and hitting threes, he is really useless. Late in the 4th, he hit a three to give us a one point lead. Harden was like we gotta ride him. So freaking intent to pass him in the next two plays, only to brick them.

Also Gorden stopped driving late in the game. He was so freaking gassed.

We just need a big who isn’t a offensive liability every time they get the ball in the post.

When the threes stop falling everybody just says to drive but we need that big who can create offense in the paint and mid range.

    And a alley oop threat.

We didn't lose due to ONE factor but several. Clearly fatigue was a factor unless we just took a bunch of stupid pills.

Try 28 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and an mvp of the league in his prime. Are you slow?

Yes they are tired because they play a system that requires alot of energy and in real life there is no turbo button. Number 1 in pace with no rest... good luck...

It's so frustating. I was yelling drive it to the bixxch ass 5 foul Dort. Harden could have fouled Dort out to save the trey Dort made. Instead that bixxtch azz played with 5 fouls in the entire 4th. This is so on Mike

True, but we could have won this one by fixing one factor in the 4th - when the threes weren't falling, take it to cup and go to the foul line. The lane was wide open. As RR pointed out, even when Harden got there, he would still kick out.

Dantoni is unbelievably stubbon. After the time out, I thought ok, now we gonna drive. Nope. After House drove and 1, I thought let's do it again, this is obvious, nope another long one from Gordon to brick it. So stpuid.

I agree 100%. We play an exhausting style of defense and a predictable style of offense that becomes a liability in the 4th.

Like the Jazz series, we start off hot with the advantage but then it evens out.

You don't think they are tired? So what is it you think this loss was?

Also for those that say CP should be tired too. Yes, I was freaking cheering for CP to get the ball and do it more. But freaking, he kept handing the rock to Shoreder and SGA. That was smart. We werent.

And the 3 guard lineup is seriously hurting us as they figure us out.

OP is right. The guys were exhausted in the 4th quarter. Harden played almost the entire second half and we ran 7 guys after halftime. It doesn't matter how many months you have off. If you're playing a nail-biting playoff game against the best clutch team in the league and you sprint up and down the court dozens of times without any substitutions, you're going to have a bad time. Nobody was driving to the rim despite open lanes. We were shooting contested threes and turning the ball over in comical ways.

Westbrook will definitely help, but he needs to come back now. If all we do is shoot 3's, we will lose the series if we go cold. It's first to 2 wins now, and OKC are not chumps. This is on Tilman. Perhaps instead of trading all of our draft picks to save money with no incoming talent in return, we could have used those picks to pick up some bench scoring to give our guys a much needed rest in the fourth quarter.

Exhausting style on defense and predictable on offense is pretty spot on description.

I also thought coach should have stuck to the normal rotation to sub Harden in 10 min mark in the 4th. Instead he rushed him back in the 3rd to counter their run. Harden being so passive in the 4th was actually deterimental to us. Rivers holding onto the rock leading the attack would have been better.

    The team IS tired.

not in the we need more rest way. In the MDA is playing a 6 man rotation so the shots are slightly impacted.

remember how there was a guy who was our best 3 point fg% shooter. Think his name was Ben Something.

maybe they should play him more.
