Need less "your turn, my turn" from CP3 and Harden.

If Harden really wants to win then play off ball in the offense, not standing around getting rest more often, especially in the 4th.

LMAO. Post of the year. You put that across any front page paper across the country and people will know exactly who you are talking about. I'm over watching it for good.

Was Harden more fun to watch with McHale as coach or with MDA?

The Rockets duo of Harden and Paul iso are pioneers of bridging the gap between And1 mixtapes and NBA basketball, such a brilliant failure.

Couldnt believe my eyes on that one

Crazy I could have sworn harden was one of the best fast break players when he got here. Man was unstoppable going down hill. Nowadays he just walks the ball up like nothing, looking for shooters whenever we get a break away steal

Dribble Dribble until the opposition defense is fully set... what a low IQ thought process. I am so good that I let them set their defense, I let the shot clock almost expiring and yet I can score...i am damn good...I am hero..i play hero ball... there is no fun in effortless basket...fast break that's too easy..I don't go for easy play.. I don't care or move if ball is not in my hand...i play hero ball.

Tucker got that shot clock violation.

Not really effect the game since it was more or less dead ball foul.
Yes. Look at who Francis face in the west (Kobe,Nash,Bibby, derek Fisher)

I wouldn't say McHale's system or plays are better, but they played at a higher pace back then. Top 5 from 2013-15 and have been slowing down since. 20 something this year. Harden also took more shots at the rim vs 3pters.

I would like dantonis offensive system combined with that higher pace.

That's an opinion and one you are obviously welcome to.

It is super annoying though that they get bashed for not winning a championship and for not being as fun to watch as other teams who have no chance at winning.

This year I watched less rockets games that I have in awhile. I use to watch more even before cp3 came and I knew we weren’t contenders.

Last playoffs really made me not as much interested, so yesterday was just yep I knew it.

I was glad I didn’t get my hopes up like last year .

Amusingly, this is NOT a "moreyball" tenet NOR a Coach D'Antoni instruction. They have talked repeatedly about the need to play with better pace.

... sigh. The idea of fandom absent criticism is moronic.

Hmmm... I’d say all 4 teams still playing plus the two that have definitively moved on we’re as likely to win and more enjoyable to watch.

As i said sometimes you get the Kings and they’re fun but have no real shot. But you can absolutely be both fun to watch AND really good.

But I’ll take it a step further. It’s not just that the Rockets aren’t the most fun team... they’re one of the least fun and most frustrating and non enjoyable decent team to watch in forever. I struggle to think of a comparable. Maybe AIs Sixers?

It’s all due to style. It’s not because they underachieve. I actually believe they overachieve mostly - this team isn’t super talented on paper relative to other second round teams. It’s just a very hard style to watch. I honestly find it hard to see how anyone would say otherwise.

The playoff games were not packed.

Not sure if that's because of the style of play or something else Fertitta is doing.
