Exactly. Sad to see these mediocre players trying hard while the supposed superstar doesn't give a ****.

 

I haven't watched the Rockets yet this season. I follow the GARM. Too depressing if I watch the games.

Look, Thibs is getting paid right now to do nothing. He might want to take the year off. He might not want to look like he was waiting in the wings to take McHale's job.

This team is failing because nobody is being held accountable. That attitude festered with McHale never holding players accountable for poor effort. The whole team is infected with that attitude and they're pointing fingers at others.

This team has simply imploded this year. Until we get a coach that will bench players for poor effort, we're going nowhere.

 

Man, I guess I'm delusional but I'm still waiting for them to turn this thing around. I mean they can't keep shooting this deplorably right???? We're 29th in the league is 3pt% and near the bottom in FG%. I still can't believe what I'm seeing out there, I'm passed the pissed off stage, I'm in utter disbelief. It still hasn't hit me that we're one of the worst teams in the league, it feels weird saying that my brain won't let me accept it...

I agree. The Rockets need guys that have the constant grit and heart in them to build around Harden and Howard who are not leaders and mentally weak, like a Lowry, Scola, or Battier back in the day.

 

Grit is what the Rox were once about. Hard to watch a team that doesn't have that fire.
