JVG is DESTROYING this team as we speak.

Dirk got 33 pts last night in season opener against the Kings, and Yao gets what 8??? We score barely 40 points at half time???

When will the Rockets trade JVG and capitalize on Yao and T-Mac to score points?

You need great D to win championship games. But you need great O to win 82 regular season games. JVG can't figure that out???

This JVG defense intensive system is going to WEAR OUT AND TIRE Yao and T-Mac, it is going to squeeze all the life out of them.

    DUMP VAN GRUMPY NOW

I hate to say this. humm. JVG, Yao and T-Mac don't mix. You guys still remember those fancy moves that Yao made during his rookie season? Yao used to have so many offensive moves. Now, with so called help and teaching from JVG and that old guy from the Knicks, Yao have only two or three moves that are highly predictable by defensive players. I just don't see how JVG are utilizing Yao's skills.

As for T-Mac, I dont' know how JVG is gonna make T-Mac better or simply how T-Mac fits in with JVG's system because T-Mac havent' played many Rockets games. Anyway, I think it's gotta be JVG's last season if he doesnt' make Rockets, Yao, T-mac better.

I agree with you 1000%. YAO made awesome moves in his rookie year. I think JVG has destroyed Yao and will destroy T-Mac.

Van Gundy is ruining this team with ex-knicks and bad offense. It is good to be defensive minded but not when your defense is sucking and you concentrate on it so much that our offense sucks. Run it through Yao or run it through Tmac who cares just get us some wins or get out of here and bring in a coach who can utilize the players we have the right way. I know its been said a million times but Rudy T shouldve never been forced out. We wouldve gotten further last year and still had the same team to build on instead of revamping the whole thing. Bring in someone else.....please.

    True,

The Shanghai shake is dead , all that forcefeeding JVG and Ewing to get him to beef up, has crippled what little flexibility and agility he had left over from his rookie and preNBA years.

his hookshot has also parted ways

Defenders are reading Yao's offensive moves like reading a book.

Shaq figured him out at the end of last season

look at the preseason game against the Heat for example. Shaq was Just waiting for Ming to make that turnaround jumper (almost impatiently) His hands are exactly where yao would be setting up to take the shot. His blocks are just not simple blocks but humiliating blocks where he would literally just snatch the ball from Yao with ONE Hand and cradle it when Yao crouches down to take the jumpshot.

Unbeleivably embarassing, textbook case of a defender knowing your game inside out.

Only time when Yao evaded Oneal that game was when he finally took a running hook shot which caught Shaq off guard.

His offensive repitoire is slowing dwindling. Scouting reports this season is one line on Ming

" Wait for the turnaround Jumper"
