Bruh, no way two of our worse players make a difference...

We needed Durant not no damn Cam Whitmore...

Who are our 5 best guys . That's probably our best lineup

    Last night it was probably

    FVV
    brooks
    Jabari
    Tari
    Sengun

But I don't want to discount how much Amen does on curry and how good Adams was either.

I think some configuration of those seven guys is our best chance going forward as far as the starting lineup . But I've been a Jalen green hater all along.

Jalens unpredictability could be fantastic off the bench . I don't know what our starting lineup looks like without him tho .

I kinda like that first five and then amen off bench for someone and then a few minutes later Adams given sengun a blow.

Maybe mix in some double/triple big at times and bring in Holliday and green for a speed spark.

I just can't state how unacceptable that game from green was. He was so timid , and missed a lot of details on defense. I'm not forgiving of "head not in the game." Especially since he didn't come out better at half.

Hopefully he was just pressing and the nerves got to him , but man , it was bad . Amen was bad too , but he was still very solid on D.

I know Ime doesn't think cam or reed are ready defensively .

I think Holliday could have helped push our pace last night , which was needed.

You can tell that we are still mastering elements of our offense. We did a pretty good job , ugly as it looked, of not turning the ball over .... Sans green.

At the trade deadline I said go get One of Jerami Grant, John Collins, Cameron Johnson,
Herb Williams, Trey Murphy......someone that can shoot 3's, play defense, and create their
own shot. A cheaper player salary now than one of those high priced stars later this summer.

I said then, teams will try to take away offensive options #1 and #2.....so a contender
needs that #3 option. Those that said, "We should sit on our hands and do nothing at
the deadline." Don't cry me a river now. Our kids got playoff experience (Green got his
Deer in the headlights playoff games out of his system, hopefully). Now the Rockets
need to go get knock down 3-point shooters to surround Jalen, Sengun and hopefully
they can create their own shot also.

Good luck bagging that So-called star.....over priced Unicorn.

This tells me Amen is making it worse. And Steven Adams alone is making life better for everyone, Sengun included. That the starters together are below average performance.

So when any of them are on the bench with Adams in, its now "Jabari, Jalen, Tari point difference is better on the bench than when they're playing". Though its just simply Adams makes almost all lineups better, and anyone not playing with Adams is at a disadvantage

Solution: Start Adams over Amen at the 4 :D In seriousness, it indicates needing better lineup balance, instead of Adams having to literally clean up all the mess.

(And then what posters like hlm & Mathloom have suggested, to have better offensive scheme to better maximize players like Jalen. That maaaaaybe an Amen lineup could work if they were all "schemed" to their strengths. Not so sure their weaknesses can be coached away though. Putting in better shooters & scorers seems most Occam razor remedy)

Two of our worst players? Like Jalen?
