Even with how bad our backcourt was yesterday. 3 egregious missed calls in the fourth cost us the game... not to mention draymond can somehow push sengun multiple times in front of a ref and not get a technical.. insane what draymond can get away with.

And every 50/50 call goes the warriors way.

Better be careful….giving an honest account of the facts will get you banned from posting like it did for me. The mods only want kool aid drinkers and you are like me. We speak truth. Any more posts like this and they’ll be coming after you my friend….better be careful!!!

I know GSW is on another timeline but how their management takes virtually every and any chance to be great is something this organization can learn from.

Even when GSW is just an outsider to win anything this year, they made the Butler deal and went for Lebron in the Offseason.

We recall the Baron Davis Underdog Warriors 8th seed that took out MVP Nowitzki and the 1st Seed Mavs. The Mavs only won a game by double digits once.

We Believe- Worriers without a clear superstar and only few household names.

Could be worse. Could be Memphis getting beat by 51 at the hands of OKC. Makes me wanna die just looking at that score.

To be fair, Memphis has little business to be in the Playoffs despite being a Two Seed for a few weeks.

They have too much going on behind curtains, they are not run professionally at all times.

Correct me if I’m wrong….aren’t we both the same exact record at 0-1?

You are absolutely correct in that in the Playoffs, it is the same if you lose by 1 or lose by 80 or 100.

You gotta learn to have the memory of a goldfish and carry on.

Not defending FVV but he was fractionally better than Jalen. Jalen was terrible. If the Rockets are going to win, they need Jalen to score 30ppg. If Jalen was doing anything at all, no way FVV takes 13 3's. Jalen needs to be the alpha dog.

I wanted to hate on the OP's thread. This series can't be over after 1 game. Unfortunately, the OP made some really good points. I hate the OP.

I'm still holding out hope that Jalen will find his mojo. Also, Amen needs to be better. I'm holding out hope that they had 1st game jitters and Udoka will adjust. He clearly got out coached on this one. One observation is the come back happened with Steven Adams on the court. Once the game was recovered, he benched Adams. Also, they went away from Alp. I think Alp needs to touch the ball every time down the court and I think he barely touched the ball in the 4th Q.

We're not constructed to win in the playoffs. We might win a series against a team like Memphis but it won't happen against GSW. We would have to get really lucky, make a bunch of 3's, and make our FT's. It's a lot to ask for to win a series. We can't just play great defense and hope to win.

We need an offense, yes, but we need players that can make 3's. Our most dependable by percentage is Holiday, our highest volume is Jalen. I trust Dillon most for wide open threes. I think Jabari's shooting is underrated but he doesn't get the opportunity to shoot much. Without 3's you can't win in the NBA today (at least in the playoffs).

This team can't be successful with three non-shooters (Amen, Alpi, Fred/Jalen when they can't shoot). Changes must be made in the offseason.

As people have said, we can't depend on offensive rebounds to stay in a game.

And the first game wasn't close. We were beaten handily all game and people act like it was close at the end. I think GSW would have played differently if they were ever threatened but they didn't need to change anything because we were so far behind. It will be a dogfight to win game 2 and then game 3 is pretty much guaranteed for GSW. Then down 1-2 and next game is at GSW.

If they lose game 2 then yes you are correct. Maybe Curry will retire one of these years.

If Rockets win this series what will happen when your entire worldview crumbles?

My personal view Ime stuck with a super small rotation and unfortunately 3 of his starters played like scrubs and far below their average level of play. If these 3 play like they normally do we still win this series.

If Green, Amen, Tari, and FVV improve their shooting just slightly then I see a win in game 2.

Credit to GSW defense but the shooting should improve from that debacle.

Houston just doesn't match up well with GSW. I think they'd fare better against any team in the West besides OKC
