I would throw the farm at the Nets for Favors or Lopez, if they make him available. Not sure if Favors will become a star but I'm ready to take the chance. If they could acquire Lopez, even better because he is already a quality center on the verge of something greater.

unfortunately true. tonight's game was frustrating to watch esp at the end. the game apparently meant something more to Memphis, and they responded. While Rockets did not seem to wanna answer back.
This team was never the same after the Martin trade. Pre martin they had heart and hustle their butts off. Maybe that was from Landry but I don't even get mad no more when they lose cause like the op says the team as became dull.
I don't like watching this team. There's nothing to root for and most of these players won't be here in a few years anyway. Who gives a damn...
Kind of sad that the biggest excitement at Rockets games this season were for Dream. Texans and Astros may be worse than mediocre at the moment, but at least they have an identity... at least you got pissed off when the Texans lost, filled with some excitement watching the young guys battle for the Astros. This Rockets team has lost it's way, or maybe rather has reached a dead-end, I dunno. I just want to have something to believe in again...
It just got a whole lot more DULL now that the Warriors are neck and neck with us. The Warriors? Really? We are the 4th worst team in the West. Only a matter of time before the Clippers and we become the 3rd worst team in the West. Pretty freakin DULL so far.
Completely agree. Sad part is, with out a major trade there is nothing to get excited about. I'm not excited to watch anybody develop etc. It's basically last season all over again.
The past decade we have been just as bad as the Warriors and Clippers. As a Rockets fan you cannot talk trash to any team in the league.
Houston sports is in such a rut right now. I don't think I've ever experienced such a bad period for all my favorite sports teams (minus the Aggies) in my 28 years. It's quite depressing.
This team is dull because.... Kevin Martin, while good, is dull Kyle Lowry (Mr. I'll never look to score) is dull Shane Battier is dull Chuck Hayes is dull Jordan Hill is dull We have a bunch of dull players. Noone is exciting except for P.Pat, Brooks occasionally and Ishmael Smith. In fact I would love to just hand the reigns to Ishmael Smith and let him run this team because he's so fun to watch.
Not true. Despite the fact that some of your criticisms are legit, AND I agree with the sentiment of the thread, AB isn't the type of talent/heart that you dump away just because you're tired of him and want a change. At least not in my opinion.
