Hard to say, shot. I think Houston is pretty talented, but we have to wait until everything settles. I would've picked the 97-00 Laker Teams, 2004 version of the Lakers, the 2002 Kings, the 1999-00 Trailblazers, 2007-08 Celtics, and 2004 Pistons. But, this team might could join that list, if they pan out.
Best team on paper best team since the bulls?. noway. the blazers, the lakers and the rockets themselves have had better team on paper since then. we had barley, olajuwon, Pippen. we also had dickerson, mobley etc, etc as there role players. heck the blazers in 2000 had an insane lineup. the lakers had kobe, shaq, fox, horry, fisher, rice, shaw, gorge etc, etc. Lets not get carried away. we have a fantastic team and probaly the best team in the league, but lets not saying things that are not true.
I had a thread about this actually - I can't remember who came out on top, but I think it was this years team...probably due to a lot of younger fans (post Hakeem era)
That was a great team we just ran into a buzsaw in the lakers. i also loved the teams we had with olajuwon, barkley, clyde, eddie johonson, matt maloney, sedalle threatt, antonio carr and so on.
