There are a large number of people who think McHale brings nothing to the team. Every win is in spite of him and every loss is because of him. Not sure why, but that's the narrative for some.
The fact that Smith chose Rox (he was getting paid by Detroit already) is somewhat of a vet discount since he could've gotten more elsewhere. I just hope I don't see him jack up 3-pointers or jumpers unless he improves it substantially.
I figured he didn't have Harden's respect due to his defensive effort. And some posters complained he didn't have offensive strategies, especially during crunch time. He does deserve some credit for the improvement of our post players and the players like him. I'm not sold on him yet, but I'm not hating either.
