JAMEINA WILLIAMS, DATED KOBE BRYANT: When Kobe admitted to having an affair with this young lady it did not surprise me whatsoever, because he is an honest person. And honest people, when they make a mistake, they do come forward and tell the truth.

Honest people don't commit adultery. Honest people also don't confess only when they are charged with a crime.

Funny how girls are coming out of the woodwork. Give me a break. How much did he pay ya girl? Seems to me she's getting paid to talk. Maybe Kobe will give her some cash for this. It will be funny more girls will come out and say "Yeah, I also had sex with Kobe." Muahaha!!

Yup Honest my @ss. Lying and cheating. It's only when he got caught that he really admitted some of it.

In what state is this television station located? Hmmmm. Is this a part of Bare Bryant's media blitz to win the case before it goes to trial? Money talks...and often drowns out the truth.

If the guy is just guilty of cheating on his wife he doesn't deserve to go to trial for a third degree felony, and he is only 24 and she was 19 so I wouldn't really call that preying on a young girl either. I'm going to hold of judgement on the man until the evidence comes out and hopefully in the end this turns out to be just a misunderstanding caused by a disturbed girl and not an actual rape assult.

    rezdawg,
this is so shocking of you. all girls should want to have sex with kobe or else their sexuality is questioned? man c'mon. stop.

you know, i really dont care if he did cheat on his wife. there's always the possibility that kobe bryant enjoys casual sex with many different women and his wife knows and is fine with it. there are marriages like this and considering kobe bryant's career i'm sure she's aware of the possibilities of it when he's on the road travelling. i mean some people consider sex as nothing more than a normal human function, like sleeping or pissing.

i think what disgusts me most is that he first tried to completely dismiss the girls claim by using his clean image. saying you all know me and i would never do such a thing (adultery). and after that apologizing to everyone and crying with his wife on his side. ready to confess everything. thats just pathetic.

this thread reminds me of joe19 attacking anotherBrother except its worse.

Explain this bet to me. If he pleads guilty to a lesser charge would I win or does it have to be felony assault charge they are pinning him with?

Kobe has enough money he won't be found guilty to the major charge. If OJ can kill 2 people and hire his Dream Team I'm sure Kobe can do the same thing and get off. Unfortunately in our society money can buy alot of resources (wheter it's specialists, people to dig up every peice of information to her past), resources the Coloroda DA will not have.

But just let me know if the offer stands for 25-1 if he pleads down to a lesser charge to have it be forgotten. That may be of interest to me.

4chuckie...the bet is that he is found "not guilty" under the current charges that he is facing.

    thumbs, if...if....if....if....if

IF this girl was my sister and my sister had a friend that died and was in a troubled relationship and stuffed pills down her throat and was quoted by classmates as being "untrustworthy", I would still question her motives for accusing someone of rape. I would back her 100% in everything, but that doesnt mean I would agree.

Why do all of you keep insisting that he lied about having sex with this woman until he was charged? He withheld information from us, the public. I highly doubt he waited until he was charged before telling his wife exactly what happened. Why should he have to get millions of people involved in his public affairs before he absolutely has to? If you were in Kobe's shoes and had cheated on your wife, would you immediately proclaim it to the whole world? Of course not, it isn't any of their business. It is between you and your wife, and that is it. So for any of you who keep talking about Kobe lying to us, just remember that it wasn't any of our business to begin with, so it wasn't as if we had some "right" to know what really went on. That information only became valid to us once he was officially charged with a crime. Therefore, until anything is proved in the court of law, you guys need to stop shouting "guilty" because he supposedly lied to you.

Because he came out and made a statement implying he'd done nothing at all wrong (something along the lines of "You know me, I wouldn't do anything like that..."). Since that was clearly not true, he lied. Fairly simple, I think.

He was getting charged with sexual assault. His comment "you know me, I wouldn't do anything like that" could just as easily be referring to that. In fact, they weren't asking if he had sex with her, they were asking if the allegations had any validity. Get your story straight man.

With Kobe's statements, he led us to believe that he would never get involved in that kind of mess. He claimed that the story was completely "bogus" and that "he wouldn't do anything like that" since "we know him". Well, once the charges came out, he changed his tune, now admitting to adultery with the woman, which while isn't anything near sexual assualt, obviously involves him in that kind of mess.

Funny how you jump on me for not believing the girl, yet you can proclaim that Kobe and his money are after deceiving the public through the media. Nice work son. Nice work.

He doesn't have to, but don't mislead the public by claiming that "we know him, and he wouldn't do anything like that." Just keep a low profile, don't call up a reporter and lead us to believe that's he not involved. The fact is that we don't know him at all. Just stay quiet until after the charges are announced.

Shelly Smith, with John Steleshnick from ESPN radio, said that all the early allegations of a ruckus in the room turned out to be false.

Dont know how credible her word is though.
