My best friend from college was classmates with Kobe in high school in Philly. As far as Kobe's character is concerned, he is a good guy and comes from a good family. That much is certain. Regardless of the outcome of this case, I don't think Kobe can be characterized as a "good guy". He admittely slept around on his wife and newborn child. Does anybody believe this is the first time he slept around on his wife. If so, what an extraordinary turn of bad luck for him to get caught the first time. A true test of character is staring down temptations, not succombing to them. He might spend time with charitable organizations. He might not use drugs. He might be a strong advocate against gang violence. But one fact shines through all the others. He cheats on his wife. He cheats on his family. He is not a man of his word.

Based on the facts and what the district attorney has to achieve, its almost a certainty that this case will go Kobe's way. In other words, I believe that he will get off as being innocent.
