agreed I like Morris, he's currently in a shooting slump so people easily forget what he has done and how good he is...

Meh he’s alright , I get what you’re saying , if Morris could dribble so he could get easier shots he might have an opportunity to develop into a decent starter who could light it up on occasion a la Chase Budinger. But I’ve got to go back to Ming and Nowitski, people’s memories are soooo short. Everybody was saying that Ming was a complete joke, scoreless games and constantly getting punked, that lasted for about 20 games or so then he started figuring it out. Again, a seven footer with his skills is not normal, he has the potential to take this team to another level if he works out, Marcus Morris’s are a dime a dozen.

It's not time yet. McHale will not change the lineup after 2 games. The Celtics have a good defensive team. I think there is a little bit of overreaction to how we have played recently. We are not a team that is going to be consistent for long stretches. We are too young, and our style of play is going to wear our team down. Combine youth with exhaustion and you get games when we are slaughtered on the boards and our 3pt shot looks awful, nobody is cutting and movement looks really bad.

Dmo and Jones are probably going to continue to be in the dleague or buried on the bench until we move some players for picks around the deadline. Then it might be someones time to shine.

D-Mo and Jones are being stashed away until after the trade deadline.

With Dmo obviously in the Rockets future plans, this has been the perfect opportunity for Morris to receive "starters minutes" to increase his value... Right on time for the trade deadline... OP, what you see, the Rockets see as well. Just give it time. This is chess, not checkers.

If anything, he's the future of the 4 Imo. He'd flourish playing in this offense.

Don't know if your new to the rockets team, but usually rookies don't get the playing time until the 2nd half of the season or their sophomore year with the exception of Parsons.

i can, especially if the log jam at power forward is finally ironed out. I'm more worried about Terrence Jones situation than D-Mo's.

He is a white Bosh! Left handed, can shoot threes and have speed, great post moves and more. Be patient and he would find ways to get into rotation soon ;)

He has to earn it, he'll be better for it in the long run.

IMO, this is an obvious situation. The FO really wants to see what they have invested in Morris & PatPat before they move on to the next batch of young PF's.

If for some reason, Morris & Pat are still where they are now in 5 weeks I can guarantee you that at least one of them will be moved to open up PT for either Jones or D-Mo.

The front office isn't stupid. They know that the PF position is the weakest on the team, and there is a glut of young talent behind Morris & Pat. But the org has a HUGE investment made into these two guys that really haven't ever had the chance to get a half season of starter's minutes. This is there half of a season to either take that leap forward or get moved on.

If there are no deals to be made then I would assume that they will wait till the Summer to move one or both guys, but they will be moved unless they can take a huge step forward in 5 weeks. Doubtful to see that happening.

Just be patient guys. D-Mo needs at least another year anyways to go through offseason strength training in the Summer. All reports are that they think this guy is going to be a big part of the team in the future. He gives them everything they need at the 4 spot. Legit 7 ft, great post game, and can also spread the floor. The Defense, and rebounding are the two things that are going to come once he's able to put in the work in the offseason to get stronger, especially in the lower body.

TJONES has better defense. McHale needs a 2nd Chandler Parsons, he should free TJONES.

Dmo's not quite ready physically, while Jones is not quite ready skill-wise. Let Dmo have an opportunity while Jones is getting needed experience with RVG.

I'm a fan of tjones but he hasn't exactly been lighting it up in the dleague. For all the hate Morris is getting hate but he was at least getting 28 and 12 down there. Tjones and dmo r not ready yet were trying to win games and make the playoffs and at the moment Morris and pat r the better options even if they Arnt the long term option. Morris is playing out of position also he's a sf and is doing a pretty good job playing the 4 spot for us right now.

I def think dmo should get more minutes. We need a post presence and he would be perfect fit next to Asik. I don't know if he is ready to start already but he needs minutes to show what he is capable of doing. Come on he is 7ft and has good post game and has good potential all around the board as a shooter. His d certainly can't be any worse than Morris or ppat. Develop him and next season I think he could be a solid starter. Leave him on the bench and not develop him and he will be called a bust. I love his attitude and he is always hustling out there, u don't see 7ft players with the mobility/speed as him. Play the guy

This is counterintuitive. If he were ever going to shine, why would you not want him here?

Motiejunas is probably going to need to produce coming off the bench before he challenges anyone for a starters spot outside of injuries.

I hope he has been practicing well enough to get that chance, although I worry our coaches aren't giving him a shot because his 3 point shot isn't good enough and they love playing our PFs out at the 3 point line offensively to leave lanes for Lin, Harden or Parsons to drive.

There technically is time enough to play him if you cut into Delfino and Parsons minutes along with the time because they give those two plenty of time on the court due to playing small ball.

He's gotta get off the bench first!

DMo is in a kinda Rocket roster limbo. He is too good for DL action but apparently not good enough to break the rotation. I'd like to see McHale lesson the load on the starts for at least a game and let DMo get some non-garbage time burn.
