Umm, they were tired which is why it was brick city by both teams for the last 10 minutes.

Watch the game before you post.

Maybe, but I sure would love the opportunity to force Warriors to knock us out.

I don't want to blame D'Antoni too much. I think he has a sound strategy and is employing players he trust to execute. His strategy worked beautifully in game 4 where they out ran and out shot the Spurs. The problem though is when things aren't going as smoothly as expected and it turns into a battle of will and fatigue. The Spurs are a very tough team and Pop is willing to gamble a little more on bench players. D'Antoni needs to prepare for that especially if this series goes to 7.

loss is on the players for not being able to realize you gotta lock in for one possession to get the win and make it a ft game to close it out. when does danny green drive to the basket for layups. just terrible

Completely agree. D'antoni stood there and watched that debacle.

Harden played abysmally but D'antoni has the ability to yank him if that's what is needed.

MDA should have told Harden to run his offense or watch someone else run it. To watch that possession after possession is just silly.

True, but how much did he do that? Not that much i'd say...and other points still stand. Other times he played all the second half and he wasn't as bad in the end...in fact i actually remember him playing all the second half in "a lot" of Games a couple of years ago, and in the end he was fine most of times, hitting also game winners...certainly not as bad as tonight.

Did we have any timeouts left after winning the jump ball on the final play?

MDA deserves more criticism for not playing Dekker and Harrell. Both are active, high energy players that would really go well with the bench.

Lol Bev and Anderson scored 0 points in the 4th period.

Bev hit one 3 in ot after a Harden druve and kick assist.

    Great counterexample.

Watch the game idiot. Both teams were tired. Or the Rockets are an amazing defensive team because they locked the Spurs down in the 4th.

This was definitely on Mike D. Look to your bench and see if someone else can spell harden a few minutes. The guy was exhausted. Our whole team was exhausted. Harden's last play was r****ded but that's on d'antoni to manage minutes so our star isn't a veg by the last quarter and has a clear mind for the last shot. Especially with Kawhi hobbled.

Lets not blame the coach and player that brought us to game 6 against the third best team in the league in the semifinals.

Do none of you make mistakes in your jobs?

    These guys overachieved this year.

You kind of wonder if D'Antoni is sending a message to the GM, in that we only have one injured player and yet in a crucial playoff game to coach only plays 7 players.

We had a lot of chances to either put them away or build a big lead . We didn't stay in attack mode and playing Ryan at backup C resulted in a layup line the last 5 minutes of the 3rd quarter for the Spurs

James (for whatever reason: drunk / tired ... ) Stopped attacking the hoop , even when the only SA big was David ****ing Lee

If he doesn't have juice to do it ... Then let him rest ... If he does and isn't doing it then you COACH and tell him what the **** to do.

D'antonio's post game is nauseating to watch ... Hmm I guess we were tired , yea we had shots and didn't make them ... But we have to grind .

Well maybe if you had spelled Gordon or Ariza or James or bev a bit more then they would have had legs to make shots at the end

Also Lou Williams ( as much as he helped us win vs OKC ) has been just ****ing awful ( worst player on the floor bad ) this series .

He practically shot us out of game 3 , tonight he just didn't know what to do . I legit think Anderson is a better defensive player than he is . Gordon missed shots but has been solid on D .

SA just has a better system . Pop can play guys like Simmons , Anderson , Murray significant minutes because they have a scheme and they grind it into you . Plus pop can place those guys in positions to minimize weakness and Max their strength .

Yeah games are make or miss , but overall we are getting out coached . Pop is the goat and we actually have more talent (IMO) than SA ... We're just not utilizing it and haven't been prepping our young players for success.

Capela has stepped up big , and tonight the loss of nene hurt us . He could've gotten us strong buckets down the stretch

No he was 0-1 with 1 rebound in the 4th and scoreless in OT.

This is the player @Vivi really thinks brought it in the clutch.

No you're incorrect. What game were you watching sir. Ryan Anderson hit what was supposed to be the game winning 3 in OT with 40 seconds left to put hou up. You might want to check yourself first when trying call someone else out

Scoreless in OT? Yeah someone was definitely not watching if you missed that sequence of events

Lol, why would you say "the system is better" after one OT game that the Spurs won at home against the short-staffed Rockets?

The Spurs were supposed to win this series and just barely took a 3-2 advantage.

Maybe since they're underachieving so badly relative to the regular season....the spurs system is outdated.
