Oh, yeah, 'cuz in the NBA, you really ALWAYS dribble with 2 basketballs and can catch tennis balls while dribbling. Don't get me started on the little damn ball hog. Freakin' show me some PASSING skills and let me hear him say something about his coach not playing him even though we signed him as a free agent from Portland. I kid. But you know what I mean. "That boy is GOOD!" - [name that movie - difficulty:moderate]
LOL nice! I hope the kid grows... he does look like the shortest kid on his team. But he is only a 5th grader.
Its gonna be a huge letdown when that kid tops out at 5'9" (go ahead and post a picture of earl boykins, you know you want to) but seriously, 4 hours a night practicing.. shouldn't he be doing homework?
Dang it, I know I have heard it and it is on the tip of my tongue and now I shall be drove insane for the rest of the day until I or somebody else cracks this.
ding! ♫ you, sir, have the same comedic "taste" I do. You now have control of the board. Pick a category. Check your GMAIL.
Anyone else kind of feel sorry for that kid? Can you imagine the pressure he is going to be under from now on? I can totally see him being burned out before he finishes high school.
I'm sure prodigies like tiger woods (whose been playing as young as he could hold a stick) peak out at 20 years old. hehehehe... I thought most athletes were trained as early as grade school. Most kids run around non stop anyways, why not focus it a bit more? Even if he "busts" he still better than 98% of his class. His confidence will be above average for sure.
Psshh... take him to our CF Saturday games and we'll play full court on the dunk rims and we'll see how good he is
I hope this kid grows up well balanced so he can have a productive and happy life. Unless he has a major growth spurt, it's doubtful the NBA is in his future. But maybe he could play overseas.
By the time he's old enough to be in the pros (10 years or so), the minimum salary for a Euro contract will probably be $500,000 a year anyway
I could totally take him in "Are you Smarter than a 5th grader?" Honestly, I'm more impressed with his speed for a mile than his basketball skills.
